Dynasty of Death puts Hades and Persephone across the board from one another, because apparently couples therapy wasn’t dramatic enough for the Underworld. Hacksaw Gaming gives us a 5x4 slot with 14 paylines, Wilds, VS symbols, DuelReels, multipliers, cash prizes and three bonus spin modes. The chess idea gives the theme a nice change of pace, while the DuelReels mechanic does most of the heavy lifting once the symbols start arguing.
Dynasty of Death takes Greek mythology into a darker cartoon style, with Hades and Persephone presented less like marble statues and more like rivals waiting for a very serious match to begin. The base setting places us in the Underworld’s throne room, where pillars, shadows and godly attitude do the usual dramatic housekeeping.
The art style has a comic edge rather than a classical mythology look. That choice works well enough, since the game isn’t trying to behave like a museum piece with spinning reels attached. The symbols include royal letters, Underworld characters, Cerberus, columns and a glowing Wild trophy. Animations focus on VS symbols expanding into DuelReels, which gives the grid a sharper moment of theatre without making the whole thing feel like a stage production that lost its script.
Dynasty of Death uses regular payline wins, with combinations paying from the left across adjacent reels. The royal symbols carry the same values, while the Underworld icons and character symbols sit higher in the table.

| A | 0.40, 1.00, 3.00 |
| Column | 1.00, 2.00, 6.00 |

When a VS symbol lands, it can expand into a DuelReel if it becomes part of a win after expansion. A fully expanded DuelReel covers the whole reel and substitutes for regular paying symbols.
Once the reel expands, two duellists appear with separate multiplier values. The winning duellist decides which multiplier applies to wins connected to that reel. If more than one DuelReel contributes to the same winning combination, the winning multipliers are added together before applying to the win. We’re essentially watching a tiny Underworld dispute settle the arithmetic, which is probably how Hades would prefer taxes worked too.
Some DuelReels may also carry a cash prize connected to the two duellists. If the duellist with the cash prize wins and connects to a paying combination, the prize is added as a multiplier of the bet before applying to the win.
Only one cash prize can be awarded per DuelReel. If the cash prize doesn’t connect to a win, then the game can award it separately once regular wins have been handled. This gives the DuelReels more to do than simply pick a multiplier and disappear back into the Underworld.
King’s Defence triggers when 3 Scatters land during the base game. The feature begins with 10 bonus spins and keeps the same general mechanics as the base game.
The main difference is a stronger chance of triggering DuelReels. That makes the round more focused on VS symbols, expanding Wild reels and multiplier outcomes. Landing 2 Scatters during the bonus awards 2 extra spins, while 3 Scatters award 4 extra spins.
Queen’s Dominion activates when 4 Scatters land in the base game. We still get 10 bonus spins, but this version adds a stronger cash prize angle.
The feature follows the King’s Defence setup, with one major difference. DuelReels are guaranteed to include at least one duelling cash prize. That makes each full DuelReel more meaningful, since the possible payout can come from both multiplier behaviour and attached prize values.
Immortal Mate triggers when 5 Scatters land during the base game. The feature starts with 10 bonus spins and keeps the King’s Defence mechanics as its foundation.
Every spin guarantees 2 VS symbols, and DuelReels come with 2 duelling cash prizes. The minimum cash prize value is also higher in this feature. Among the three bonus modes, this one is clearly the most loaded, because subtlety has apparently been banished from the Underworld along with several other inconveniences.
Dynasty of Death runs on 5 reels and 4 rows with 14 paylines. Wins form from left to right, starting on the first reel and continuing across adjacent reels. Every wager can qualify for all active winning combinations, unless a feature states otherwise.
The base structure is simple enough, but the VS system changes how the reels behave. A VS symbol can expand into a Wild reel, trigger a duel, apply multipliers and potentially add cash prizes. Within modern online casinos, Dynasty of Death sits in the category where the reel setup looks familiar at first glance, then one feature arrives with a sword and starts rewriting the outcome.
For nearby titles, we’re looking at online slots with myth themes, duel mechanics or feature driven bonus rounds that do more than sit politely in the corner.
Dynasty of Death works best when the DuelReels begin stacking decisions on top of the basic payline setup. The Hades and Persephone chess rivalry gives the slot a stronger frame than another generic Underworld tour, and the visual style has enough personality to avoid looking like it escaped from a textbook illustration.
The feature set isn’t brand new territory for Hacksaw, and anyone familiar with DuelReels will recognise the rhythm fairly quickly. Still, adding cash prizes to the duel outcome gives the mechanic another point of interest. We’d say this one suits players who like mythology with a crooked grin, and bonus spins where Wild reels can suddenly become very opinionated.
