Raging Rhino Megaways, powered by SG Digital, comes with a bit of a history, first as a land-based game, then moving online in 2012. This version sticks to the familiar graphics, but with 6 reels and up to 117,649 ways to form winning combinations. The wild appears on the top horizontal reel during the base game and substitutes for most symbols to help complete combinations. It can also carry multipliers during the Free Spins, which otherwise follow what’s become a standard format for Megaways games.
Theme & Graphics
Because the technology wasn’t really up to it, online slots from the beginning of the last decade are pretty simple graphically. SG Digital have decided to keep this look, just adding a bit of polish, and some gentle animations, like waving grass and leaves blowing in the wind to the savannah scene in the background.
The grid is also pretty simple, with the symbols placed against a relaxing green background. The only movement here is when winning symbols pop during cascades. Although there is one detail that’s easy to miss. The symbols on the top row are carried into place on the back of a rhino. The background music is more action movie style than the tribal beats we were expecting, but it works.

Special symbols
The Wild is an Acacia tree silhouetted against the setting sun, it sticks to the top reel for the base game, but takes on a more significant role in the bonus rounds. The Scatter breaks with the theme a bit and appears as a diamond to trigger the Free Spins
