Elemental Gems Megaways Slot Game Review

Elemental Gems Megaways is a slot from Pragmatic Play that somehow manages to combine classic three-reel slot gameplay with a Megaways setup. It’s got an Eastern theme, a few shiny gems, some dragons hanging around, and a multiplier reel that can make things a bit more interesting.

Theme & Graphic

The grid sits against a calm, purple-toned backdrop with two dragons chilling on either side of the reels. The soundtrack uses traditional instruments, nothing over the top, just enough to feel the vibe. Symbols cover the four elements; water, air, earth, fire, with a purple ying yang and a golden pagoda thrown for good measure. Everything’s clean, polished, and easy on the eyes. Animations are minimal, until a win lands and the celebrations begin.  It’s one of those online slots you can just look at and instantly know what’s happening.

Special symbols

The Wild is the top dog here, helping fill gaps and pushing up the bigger wins. No scatters, no bonus symbols so the Wild is doing the heavy lifting.

Bonus Features

Multiplier Reel

Instead of spins-with-extra-bonuses, there’s just a multiplier reel on the side. When a win lands on the first three reels, whatever multiplier pops up in the middle of the fourth reel gets applied. Sometimes it’s tiny, sometimes it can get pretty wild. That’s it, really.

Spin Mechanics

Three main reels for symbols, one extra reel for multipliers. Each spin shows a different number of symbols thanks to the Megaways setup, up to 8 per reel. That means you can have up to 512 ways to win. And although this doesn’t seem like a very impressive number considering what a Megaways setup can produce, it’s not at all bad for a 3 reel slot! Wins go left to right across the main reels, nice and simple. No cascading, no clusters, no tricks, just straightforward spins.

Similar Slots

It’s always interesting to see how different studios handle Megaways, and these games are a good sample:

  •  Dwarven Gems Megaways by Iron Dog Studio keeps the Megaways setup but adds tumbles and bomb-style features. The theme is steampunk meets mining dwarves, giving it a quirky, mechanical vibe.
  • The Great Pigsby Megaways by Relax Gaming pairs the usual Megaways action with expanding wilds and re-spins. The visuals and extras stick to a high society feel, moving between garden parties and an Art Deco mansion.
  • Centurion Megaways by Inspired Gaming takes the classic Centurion series and stretches it with up to 117,649 ways to win. Random modifiers and bonus features keep the action lively.

BetVictor’s Opinion

This one’s super chill. You spin, the symbols line up, and sometimes the multiplier reel shakes things up a bit. The theme is nice and consistent, the dragons don’t get in the way, and the gems look good.

It’s not a game that grabs you with bonus rounds or flashy extras. It’s more about the simple flow, the little multiplier surprises, and just enjoying the spins. We at BetVictor think that anyone poking around casino games who likes something low-key with a bit of variation will find that this fits the bill.
