There are only so many peaceful afternoons a fisherman can spend beside a quiet lake before someone introduces industrial levels of electricity. Big Bass Blast takes the famous fishing series in that direction, surrounding its reels with crackling currents, glowing symbols and a rather energetic collection system. Developed by Reel Kingdom and released through Pragmatic Play, the game uses a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 10 fixed paylines. The returning Fisherman can collect valuable fish during both normal play and free spins, while random Hook and Bazooka events add a little disorder to the fishing trip.
Big Bass Blast remains firmly attached to the series’ lakeside setting, though the peaceful atmosphere has been replaced by something closer to a laboratory experiment on water. The reels sit aboard a boat, framed by electrical currents and large metallic tubes that periodically spark into life. Regular symbols include a fishing float, dragonfly, rod and brightly illuminated tackle box. The lower-value symbols are colourful versions of 10, J, Q, K and A, while Fish Money symbols appear inside neon tanks carrying individual prize values. The returning Fisherman wears his usual sunglasses and purple fishing gear. When a feature activates everything becomes busier. A hook may drag another symbol onto the grid, bubbles rise around winning combinations and the reels can be covered by a blue electrical effect. During free spins, the lake shifts into an evening setting and a Fisherman collection trail appears above the reels. This makes the progression easy to follow without covering the action below.

The Fisherman Wild can appear only on reels one and five. It can substitute for every regular symbol and collect the values of all Fish Money symbols visible on the same spin. Fish values range from 0.5x to 500x the total stake.
During the base game, a Fisherman may arrive with a random 2x, 3x or 10x multiplier. That multiplier is applied to the Fish Money values collected on the spin. When several multiplied Fishermen participate in the same collection, their multipliers are added together before the fish values are awarded.
The fish Scatter can land on any reel. Three, four or five Scatters trigger 5, 7 or 9 free spins respectively. When only two Scatters appear during the base game, a Hook animation may pull another Scatter onto the grid after the original spin has finished, activating the feature. Hooks can also appear in other situations. During free spins, one may bring a Fisherman Wild onto the reels when Fish Money symbols have landed without a collector.
Every Fisherman Wild appearing during free spins is recorded on the meter above the grid. Collecting seven Fishermen adds five more spins and changes the Fish Money collection multiplier to 2x. Reaching fourteen Fishermen provides another five spins and raises the multiplier to 3x. A total of twenty one Fishermen awards the final five extra spins and increases the multiplier to 10x.
Retriggered spins begin after the current group of free spins has finished. Once the third retrigger has been reached, no further spins can be added through the collection meter.
Random assistance may appear when the necessary collecting symbols fail to meet naturally. If Fisherman Wilds are visible without Fish Money symbols, additional fish may be placed onto the reels. When fish appear without a Fisherman, a Hook may bring a collector into play.
A Bazooka animation can also remove and replace symbols while leaving existing Fisherman Wilds in position. These events are available during free spins and may also occur randomly in the base game.
This slot uses 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 fixed paylines. Regular combinations are formed from left to right on consecutive reels, beginning with the first reel. Most symbols require at least three matching positions, although the highest paying fishing float can produce a win from two matches. The main distinction from several earlier Big Bass games is that fish collection is available outside the free spins round. A Fisherman on either outer reel can collect every visible Fish Money symbol immediately, and its possible base game multiplier makes ordinary spins more relevant than simply waiting for the Scatters.
Here are a few similar casino games that share comparable themes or mechanics.
Big Bass Blast does not abandon the formula that made the wider series recognisable, but it does move more of the useful action into the base game. Allowing the Fisherman to collect fish values outside free spins means normal play feels less like an extended search for three Scatters. The possible Wild multipliers strengthen that idea further. Visually, the electrical theme is cheerful and clear, although it has little connection to fishing beyond giving the reels a new coat of neon paint. The free spins round is more demanding than some earlier entries because seven Fishermen are needed for each upgrade. Reaching the stronger multipliers may therefore take time and is never guaranteed. Still, the visible progression meter, random symbol additions and base game collections create a busier version of the established Big Bass design.
