The dice shaker is probably the most distinctive part of the setup. Before each hand begins, it decides whether the randomly selected multipliers will actually count for that round. It's a small detail, although it gives us another reason to watch what happens before the first card is revealed. 

The rest of the layout is just as straightforward. Roadmaps, betting statistics and recent results are all visible on screen, and the camera moves naturally between the dealer, the cards and the table, making it easy to follow the action from beginning to end. 

Mega Baccarat follows the standard baccarat payout structure while adding random multipliers to qualifying winning bets during active Mega Rounds. 

Mega Round 

The defining feature of Mega Baccarat is the Mega Round. Before the cards are dealt, multipliers ranging from 2x to 100x are randomly assigned across the available betting positions. Once betting has closed, the dice shaker is used to decide whether those multipliers will become active for that hand. If the dice result is an 8 or a 9, the assigned multipliers remain in play and qualifying winning bets receive the increased payout. 

Random Multipliers 

Every round begins with fresh multiplier values, so the betting positions can change from one hand to the next. Player, Banker, Tie and the optional Pair side bets may all receive different multiplier values before the dice result determines whether they apply. This keeps each round unpredictable while leaving the baccarat rules untouched. 

Player Pair and Banker Pair 

Alongside the main wagers, Mega Baccarat includes Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets. These pay when the first two cards dealt to either side form a pair. During an active Mega Round, these side bets may also receive one of the available multipliers, creating the possibility of considerably larger returns than the standard payout. 

Roadmaps and Betting Tools 

Several baccarat roadmaps are displayed directly within the interface, allowing us to follow previous outcomes without leaving the main table. The game also includes rebet functionality, betting history and a clean chip selection area, making it simple to prepare for the next hand without interrupting the flow of play. 

Mega Baccarat sticks to the traditional baccarat rules, so there isn't much of a learning curve if we've played the game before. Bets can be placed on Player, Banker or Tie, while Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets are also available before the betting window closes. After betting ends, random multipliers are assigned to the available betting positions, and the dice shaker decides whether they'll be active for that hand.

The interface also includes rebet functionality, allowing previous wagers to be placed again quickly before the next hand begins. Even with the additional Mega Round mechanic, the overall pace remains steady and easy to follow.

What impressed us wasn't simply the chance of higher payouts, but how naturally the Mega Round fits into the game. The familiar betting options and card rules never change, so the extra mechanic feels like an addition rather than a replacement. 

Just as importantly, the presentation stays focused on the game itself. The dealer, cards and betting layout remain the centre of attention, while the dice shaker adds a little anticipation without taking over the experience. If we're looking for a live baccarat table that adds something different while remaining faithful to the original game, Mega Baccarat is an enjoyable option.
