Ted Cash Lock from Blueprint Gaming brings the outspoken teddy bear Ted back to the reels. The game uses a 5x4 layout with 20 paylines and plenty going on around the main reels. Rainbow Ted symbols, special Ted modifiers and several Bonus Spins features all play a part, with Tami-Lynn also making an appearance. 

As branded online slots do, Ted Cash Lock sticks closely to the look of the Ted films, putting the action in a slightly messy apartment with a sofa, lamps and empty beer cans dotted around the room. The reels sit in the middle of the scene and use a strong green colour scheme that gives the game its own visual identity. 

Ted himself can also pop up during the base game, including moments when he changes symbols into potential winning combinations. 

The game has plenty of animation, particularly when Ted appears and during the Bonus Spins features. The Lazer Gun Spins add another visual touch, with Ted firing his weapon at the reel positions before the spins begin.

Rainbow Ted Bonus Spins 

Landing six or more Rainbow Ted symbols starts the main Bonus Spins round. Each Rainbow Ted position receives a Bronze border. Further Rainbow Teds can upgrade positions from Bronze to Silver and then Gold. 

When the Bonus Spins finish, bordered positions turn into special Ted symbols. Bronze positions feature Ted holding one beer bottle, Silver positions show two bottles, while Gold positions feature champagne. Ted then appears to reveal the potential cash values attached to these symbols. 

Ted Bonus Wheel 

Three or more Thunder Buddies Bonus Scatter symbols start the Ted Bonus Wheel. The wheel selects one of three special Bonus Spins rounds: Ted Colossal Spins, Lazer Gun Spins or Super High Spins. 

Ted Colossal Spins 

This feature awards six spins and begins with a special pre-spin. Colossal Ted symbols that remain visible can turn into Rainbow Ted symbols, which then add Bronze borders to their positions. The usual border upgrades can follow during the six spins. 

Lazer Gun Spins 

Ted gets his lazer gun out before six Bonus Spins begin. His shots add Bronze, Silver or Gold borders to positions on the grid. Rainbow Ted symbols can then upgrade these positions during the feature. 

Super High Spins 

Six Bonus Spins are awarded, with the triggering Thunder Buddies symbols starting with Gold borders. Rainbow Ted symbols can add further Gold borders, with completed Gold positions becoming special Ted symbols at the end of the feature. 

Ted Cash Lock uses five reels, four rows and 20 paylines. Potential winning combinations need at least three matching symbols on a payline, starting from the leftmost reel and continuing from left to right.

We think Ted Cash Lock does a good job of bringing the character's chaotic personality into the slot format. There is plenty happening, from Ted randomly appearing during the base game to the different Bonus Spins selected by the Bonus Wheel.
