7s Deluxe Wild Fortune Play Slot Game Review

Blueprint Gaming goes back to the old fruit machine cupboard for 7's Deluxe Wild Fortune Play, pulling out flaming reels, classic symbols, and a feature that tries to make the whole thing feel bigger than its four reel setup suggests. It is a simple game on the surface, though not quite as plain as it first looks.

The main twist is Fortune Play, which turns one grid into four and lets wilds spread across all of them. So while the theme is firmly rooted in old school online slots, the game does at least try to stir some movement into what could otherwise have been a very basic retro release.

Theme & Graphic

7's Deluxe Wild Fortune Play looks like it was built with one instruction in mind: make it fiery, make it loud, and stop there. The background is all flames and bright red framing, with the reels sitting in the middle like a fruit machine that has spent far too long next to a heater. It is not subtle, and it is not trying to be.

The symbol set sticks to the familiar script. There are sevens, BARs, bells, cherries, citrus fruit, plums, and watermelons, all drawn in a chunky style that feels more arcade than modern polish. That old school approach will work for some players and leave others cold, but at least the game is clear about what it is. In a market full of busier online casinos releases, there is something oddly blunt about a slot that simply throws fruit and fire at the screen and calls it a day.

Payout Table

The paytable keeps things classic, with fruit symbols at the lower end and the usual machine staples taking the stronger spots.

Symbol Payout for 3, 4 of a kind
Cherries 2.00, 4.00
Oranges 2.00, 8.00
Lemons 2.00, 8.00
Plums 2.00, 8.00
Watermelons 2.00, 8.00
Double BAR 8.00, 80.00
Bells 12.00, 120.00
7s 32.00, 320.00

Special Symbols

  • Wild: The wild substitutes for regular paying symbols and adds a x2 multiplier to substituting wins.
  • Stacked Wild Multipliers: When more than one wild is involved in the same win, their multipliers build up, so two wilds apply x4 and three wilds apply x8.
  • Top Wild Win: Four wilds across the reels award the game’s standout standard payout.

Bonus Features

Wild Multipliers

The wild is the only real special symbol in the base game, but it does more than fill gaps. Every wild carries a x2 multiplier on wins it helps complete, so even a routine combination can get a useful push when one lands in the right spot.

If more than one wild joins the same win, the multiplier climbs with it. That gives the feature a bit more bite than the standard stand in symbol. It is still a straightforward mechanic, though it does most of the heavy lifting here.

Spin Mechanics

Fortune Play is the main extra attached to the game. When active, you are not working with one set of reels anymore but four. Any wild that lands on one grid is copied across the other three, which gives the whole round a much better chance of producing something worthwhile.

That is the one part of the game that feels more playful than merely old fashioned. The base format on its own is quite bare, so Fortune Play does a lot to make the experience feel fuller. It does not reinvent anything, but it is the closest the slot gets to having a proper personality.

Spin Mechanics

This slot uses four reels, three rows, and the Superways system, which creates up to 81 ways to win. Matching symbols need to land on adjacent reels from left to right, and at least three matching symbols are needed to form a payout. Only the highest win is paid per way.

Without Fortune Play, the structure is very lean. It is essentially a retro reel game with a wild multiplier attached. With Fortune Play switched on, the pace improves because the copied wilds create more chances across multiple grids. That makes it the more interesting version of the game by some distance.

Similar Slots

If you want more games in a similar lane, these are worth a look:

  • Mighty Hot: 777: Another retro title from Wazdan, with a wall of symbols and scatters all throughout the grid.
  • Money Stacks Megaways: A much louder and less classic slot still centered around money but now with a Megaways mechanic.
  • 777 Surge: A better known release from Gameburger Studios that also mixes classic slot ingredients with a stronger feature package.

BetVictor's Opinion

We would not call 7's Deluxe Wild Fortune Play one of Blueprint Gaming’s finer ideas, but we can see what it is aiming for. The game leans hard into fruit machine nostalgia, and if we strip it back to that goal, it more or less gets there. The issue is that the basic game feels thin enough to blow away in a mild breeze.

Fortune Play is what saves it from being completely forgettable. Once the copied wilds start spreading across four grids, the slot finally shows a bit of life. Outside of that, though, there is not much depth, not much flair, and not much reason to pick it over stronger retro themed releases. We would file this under mildly serviceable rather than essential.

Frequently Asked Questions

7's Deluxe Wild Fortune Play uses 4 reels, 3 rows, and up to 81 Superways. Wins are formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, with at least 3 matching symbols needed.

The wild substitutes for regular paying symbols and adds a x2 multiplier to wins it helps complete. When multiple wilds appear in the same win, the multiplier grows further.

Fortune Play expands the action across 4 playing fields instead of 1. Any wild that lands is copied to the remaining grids, which creates more chances for winning combinations.
