Phoenixes are supposed to represent rebirth and hope, but Blueprint’s Eternal Phoenix Megaways seems more interested in fire, stone, and general lava chaos. Despite the scorched-earth aesthetic, it’s built around a very familiar Megaways mechanic, including cascading wins, multipliers, and bonus spins. Eternal Phoenix Megaways didn’t chicken out on its fantasy setting, though it’s the darker, molten kind. The phoenix might be your mythical mascot, but most of the game takes place in a volcanic wasteland that’s more Mordor than magical forest. The phoenix animation shows up between transitions and potential wins, presumably to remind you that there is, indeed, a phoenix in the title.

Special Symbols 

• Wild Symbol: Appears only in the upper reel (above reels 2–5) and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter.  
• Scatter Symbol: Triggers bonus spins. Lands anywhere on the main reels except the top row. 

Cascading Wins 

After any potential win, all contributing symbols explode and new ones drop in from above. This continues until no new wins form. The mechanic plays a big role in both the base game and bonus rounds, especially when paired with the progressive multiplier. 

Mystery Symbols 

Phoenix eggs? Probably. These mystery symbols appear anywhere on the reels and all transform into the same random symbol after the reels stop. They cannot become wilds or scatters, so don’t get too optimistic. 

Bonus Spins & Multipliers 

Land three or more scatters to receive eight bonus spins. Any additional scatters beyond the third add five more spins each. Before starting the round, you may gamble for up to 30 bonus spins via a wheel feature, though failing the gamble forfeits all spins entirely. During the round, each cascade increases a win multiplier by +1, and there’s no cap. Plus, extra spins can potentially be added if you land 3 or 4 scatters on the top reel, awarding 5 or 10 more spins, respectively. 

Eternal Phoenix Megaways is played on a six-reel grid with each reel showing 2 to 7 symbols. A four-symbol horizontal reel sits on top of reels 2 through 5, and if the maximum number of symbols lands, you’ll have 117,649 ways to win. All potential wins pay left to right from the first reel.
