Apparently, ancient Egyptian treasure wasn’t complicated enough, so Pragmatic Play has added three coloured Wilds, a prize wheel, jackpots and a Super Collect symbol. Mummy's Jewels 100 revisits the studio’s earlier Mummy's Jewels release with larger multipliers and more ways for several mechanics to activate together.
We get 243 ways to win alongside Money Symbols on reels 2 to 5. Most of the action begins when the Purple, Red or Green Wild is collected, since each colour is tied to a different feature.
Mummy's Jewels 100 brings us back to ancient Egypt, though the setting looks more like the private garden of a wealthy pharaoh than a dusty burial chamber. Lotus flowers, stone carvings, pottery and towering statues surround the reels, while the prize wheel and jackpot display sit above the main grid.
The symbols continue the theme through portraits of Egyptian deities, jewellery, ceremonial cups and stacks of coins. The three coloured Wild gems add purple, red and green flashes whenever one lands. Among Egyptian online slots, we’ve certainly seen grander tombs and angrier mummies, but the clear symbol design suits a game where several collection mechanics can activate at once.
Sound effects grow more prominent during Wild collections and wheel activations. The regular soundtrack stays restrained, presumably because the prize wheel has enough work to do without an orchestra fighting for attention.
We form potential wins by landing matching symbols on consecutive reels, beginning with the leftmost reel. The values below are shown as multiples of the stake.
| Symbol | Payout for 2, 3, 4, 5 of a kind |
|---|---|
| Q, J and 10 | N/A, 0.10x, 0.50x, 2.50x |
| A and K | N/A, 0.10x, 0.60x, 3.00x |
| Stack of Coins | N/A, 0.30x, 0.80x, 5.00x |
| Golden Chalice | N/A, 0.50x, 1.00x, 7.00x |
| Golden Bracelet | 0.10x, 0.70x, 1.50x, 10.00x |
| Golden Medallion | 0.20x, 1.00x, 2.50x, 25.00x |
The regular Collect mechanic activates whenever a Collect or Super Collect lands on reel 1 alongside Money Symbols on adjacent reels. The connection must begin on reel 2 and continue without a gap. Any qualifying Money values are then gathered.
A standard Collect simply pays the connected values. Super Collect adds a random multiplier before the collection is completed. Possible multipliers include 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 25x and 100x.
Money Symbols may carry regular base stake amounts or one of five fixed jackpot values. The jackpot amounts are Mini at 12x, Minor at 25x, Major at 300x, Mega at 1,000x and Grand at 10,000x the total stake.
Every Purple Wild is recorded above the reels when collected. A Purple Wild can randomly activate the Upgrade feature, which selects a random amount and applies that value to several ordinary prize wheel slices.
Possible upgrade amounts include 50x, 100x, 200x, 250x or 1,000x the base stake. Jackpot sections can’t be upgraded. Once the selected slices have changed, the wheel spins once and awards the value indicated by the pointer.
The Upgrade feature can therefore improve several wheel outcomes before the final selection. We still need the pointer to stop in the right place, of course. Ancient magic apparently draws the line at guaranteeing useful aim.
The Green Wild is connected to the Extra feature. When the mechanic activates, one, two or three prize wheel pointers are selected at random.
The wheel then spins once, and we receive the combined values shown by every active pointer. A three pointer result creates several simultaneous wheel awards, though the final amount still depends on which slices each pointer reaches.
Purple and Green Wilds can activate on the same spin. In that situation, the Upgrade feature applies first, increasing selected wheel slices. The Extra feature then adds its pointers before the wheel is spun.
A Red Wild can randomly trigger the Respins feature. Before the round begins, the prize wheel selects the number of respins. Potential results include 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30 or 100 respins.
During the round, reel 1 can produce Collect and Super Collect symbols. Reels 2 to 5 contain Money Symbols or empty positions. After each respin, connected Money Symbols beginning on reel 2 are gathered.
Every qualifying Money Symbol also receives a random multiplier before collection. Standard Collect multipliers include 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x and 10x. Super Collect multipliers include 6x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 25x and 100x.
The round can’t be retriggered. Each respin resolves separately, so several collections may take place before the selected counter reaches zero.
More than one coloured Wild can land and trigger features during the same spin. The resulting combination changes how the prize wheel or Respins feature behaves.
Purple and Red Wilds apply the Upgrade mechanic to the wheel used to determine the number of respins. Random wheel slices gain additional respin values before one section is selected.
Green and Red Wilds add up to three pointers to the respin wheel. Instead of receiving the amount shown by one pointer, we receive the combined number of respins indicated by all active pointers.
When all three Wild colours activate together, the wheel first gains upgraded respin values. Additional pointers are then selected, and the wheel awards the combined result. This is the fullest version of the feature, combining Upgrade, Extra and Respins in one sequence.
Mummy's Jewels 100 uses five reels with three visible positions on each reel. The setup creates 243 ways to win rather than fixed paylines. Matching symbols need to appear on consecutive reels, beginning with the first reel, while their precise row positions don’t matter.
Regular wins resolve from left to right. Most symbols require at least three matching instances, though the two highest regular symbols can pay from two matching reels.
The three Wild colours are restricted to the middle reels. Purple appears on reel 2, Red on reel 3 and Green on reel 4. All three replace ordinary paying symbols, but none can substitute for Money, Collect or Super Collect symbols.
Money Symbols occupy reels 2 through 5, while both Collect types are confined to reel 1. This arrangement means Money collections always build outward from the left side of the grid. A gap ends the connection, even when another Money Symbol appears farther across the reels.
These three games use related themes, collection mechanics or prize building systems.
We can see the logic behind Mummy's Jewels 100. Pragmatic Play has taken the original framework and increased the number of ways in which features can overlap. The Super Collect multiplier creates the clearest change, while the three Wild colours give ordinary spins more than one possible route towards a larger event.
The best moments come when two or three Wild colours work together. A standard prize wheel spin isn’t particularly unusual across online casinos, but upgrading slices, adding pointers and then using the result to determine a respin count gives the familiar format more moving parts.
There’s also quite a lot to process. Money values, jackpot slices, Wild collections, wheel upgrades, pointers and per symbol multipliers can all compete for our attention. The game remains readable, though we wouldn’t call the presentation subtle.
Our main reservation concerns how dependent the more interesting outcomes are on several random stages. We first need the right Wilds, then the corresponding feature trigger, followed by favourable wheel changes and a useful final stop. Mummy's Jewels 100 can create impressive combinations of mechanics, but the route there involves a fair amount of ceremonial waiting.
