Mitchell Starc was named Player of the Series, claiming 31 wickets including a stunning seven-wicket haul on the opening day in Perth. Travis Head was Australia's top run-scorer with 629 runs.

England's solitary victory came on Boxing Day at the MCG, where they won by 4 wickets in front of nearly 100,000 fans.
