Instead of the usual Megaways cascading wins and increasing multipliers, gameplay is spiced up by stacked mystery symbols, Money Spins, and Frenzy Spins. 

As often happens with online slots, the title kind of gives it away, but the visuals for Big Money Megaways draw inspiration from cash and gold. The grid is set against a green background that resembles the border of a bank note. Colourful gems, wads of cash, and stacks of gold all appear on the reels. Everything except the spinning reels is static, and the only animations in the base game are when wins are highlighted.  

The bonus round is pretty much the same, except the background turns to gold and only Cash and Collect symbols appear on the reels. The action is accompanied by an upbeat, jazzy soundtrack.

The only Megaways staple in the mix here, the Mystery symbol in this game is a dollar sign which can land stacked up to a full reel in height anywhere on the grid and then reveals the same random paying symbol across all spins.  

Money Spins 

This follows the classic Hold & Win formula. Three Scatters in view grants 3 respins with the triggering Scatters turning into Money symbols and sticking. Each new symbol that lands resets the counter and also sticks. Filling the grid or running out of respins ends the round and all prizes in view are awarded to the player. The one thing that makes this a bit different is the Frenzy Spins symbol, which can also land during this round. 

Frenzy Spins 

Each Frenzy spin symbol that lands grants one Frenzy Spin. Here the rewards can be bigger, and everything that lands during the spin is awarded at the end.  

Considering the full potential of the Megaways mechanic, Big Money Megaways is fairly retrained. The grid consists of six reels, and between 2 and 5 symbols can land on each pre spin, producing a max of 15625 ways to line up matching symbols on adjacent reels.
