Bounty Raid Slot Game Review

Cowboy-themed slots have been riding across casino lobbies for years, so it takes a little more than a revolver and a dusty background to make one memorable. Here, the focus shifts away from saloons and train robberies and towards bounty hunting instead. Wanted outlaws appear carrying cash values, a Sheriff turns up to collect them, and a fearless Bounty Hunter can pin them to the reels while a respin plays out. It is a fairly straightforward setup, yet the special symbols give almost every spin something to keep an eye on.

Theme & Graphic

The first thing that stands out is that Bounty Raid doesn't try to look grim. Instead of leaning into dark Western realism, Red Tiger has gone with a unique illustrated style. The reels sit inside a wooden cabinet decorated with metal details, while orange skies stretch across a dusty landscape behind them. It feels warm rather than harsh, even though a raid is clearly happening in the background. The standard symbols stick closely to the setting. Treasure chests sit at the top of the regular paytable, followed by crossed revolvers, saddles, cowboy hats and boots, before the familiar playing card suits make up the lower values. But, the real personality comes from the special symbols. Each Bandit appears as a wanted portrait with its own cash value, the Sheriff arrives as a polished badge, while the Bounty Hunter dominates the centre reel with a larger portrait that immediately draws your attention whenever she lands. The animations are clean without becoming distracting. During the respin feature, locked Bandits remain fixed on the reels while Golden Coins fly in to increase their values. It is not packed with cinematic effects, but everything happens clearly enough that you never lose track of what is going on.

Payout Table

Special symbols work a little differently from the regular paytable.

  • Bandits carry random values ranging from 1x to 50x the stake.
  • Sheriff collects every visible Bandit and awards their combined value.
  • Bounty Hunter starts the Respin feature whenever Bandits are present.
  • Golden Coins appear only during the Respin feature and increase locked Bandit values.

Bonus Features

Bandits

The Bandits are really the heart of the game. Instead of paying as ordinary symbols, they land with random cash prizes attached to them. Sometimes only one appears, sometimes several land together, which naturally makes you hope that either the Sheriff or the Bounty Hunter decides to show up before the reels stop. On their own, they simply wait.

Sheriff Collection

The Sheriff can appear on every reel except the middle one. Whenever he arrives, every visible Bandit is rounded up and their values are added together before being paid instantly. The moment the badge lands, you already know what is about to happen.

Bounty Hunter Respins

The Bounty Hunter only appears on the centre reel as a larger two-position symbol. If she lands while at least one Bandit is already visible, the main feature begins. Every Bandit locks in place and the remaining positions respin.

From there, the feature becomes a simple chase for more Bandits and Golden Coins. Each new symbol resets the respin counter, so a round that looks finished can suddenly carry on for several more spins. Once no additional symbols arrive, every locked Bandit value is collected and paid together.

Golden Coins

Golden Coins only appear during the respin feature, but they can end up making a noticeable difference. Rather than adding fixed prizes, they increase the value of every locked Bandit already on the reels. Lower-value Bandits receive smaller boosts, while the highest-value outlaws can eventually grow to as much as 100x the stake.

Spin Mechanics

Bounty Raid keeps things traditional with five reels, three rows and 10 fixed paylines. Winning combinations pay from left to right, beginning on the first reel, so there are no expanding reel systems, clusters or Megaways mechanics to learn before getting started. The ordinary symbol wins are fairly restrained, and after a while it becomes obvious that the game expects the special symbols to do most of the work. Interestingly, that does not make the base game feel completely empty. Even a lone Bandit landing on the reels creates a little anticipation because there is always the possibility that the next symbol could change everything. There are only a handful of special symbols, and each one has a very clear purpose.

BetVictor's Opinion

There is something refreshing about a slot that does not try to reinvent every mechanic it uses. Bounty Raid borrows familiar ideas and ties them together in a way that matches the theme. Outlaws carry rewards, the Sheriff collects them, and the Bounty Hunter keeps them trapped while the prizes grow. It all feels surprisingly logical once you have played a few rounds. That said, patience does help. Fortunately, the feature itself is entertaining enough to make those quieter moments worthwhile.

For anyone who enjoys Western-themed online slots, Bounty Raid could strike a comfortable balance between simplicity and suspense.
