Inspired by the hugely popular 1976 film about a boxer, the Rocky slot features one of the most infamous images from the movie as the background. Of course, this is Rocky Balboa at the top of some stairs after finishing his workout. The scene is shown in black and white, too, exactly as it's shown in the original film. A selection of characters can also be found in symbol form throughout this release, including Butkus, Rocky's beloved Bullmastiff.  

This release has a large board when compared to other online slots, spanning 5 reels and 5 rows. It features a total of 40 paylines and the minimum bet size sits at 0.10 per spin.

The Rocky slot also comes with two types of special symbols:  

• Wilds - These are shown as the Italian Stallion logo and can substitute for any standard or premium symbol if a combination is possible as a result.

Landing four of the same scatter variation will trigger the corresponding bonus mode in the Rocky slot:  

Apollo Creed  

If an 'I' scatter lands in each corner, this round will trigger. Players will be awarded 8 free spins and wilds that appear will remain sticky for the duration of the bonus. This mode cannot be retriggered.  

Heavyweight Bonus  

Landing four 'II' scatter symbols will cause the Heavyweight Bonus to activate. A total of nine boxing gloves will appear, and when selected by the player, each one will reveal a fixed value based on the stake size, or a golden coin, which awards extra picks. When no more picks are left, all values on the screen will be added up and awarded.  

Clubber Lang  

The Clubber Lang bonus can be triggered by landing four 'III' scatter icons. Players will be given six free spins and giant mystery icons can appear, revealing either Rocky or Clubber Lang symbols before any win evaluations take place.  

Ivan Drago Hold & Respin  

Next up is the Ivan Drago Hold & Respin mode that can be activated with four ' IV' scatter symbols. This round starts with 3 respins and only gloves can appear.   

Each time one does, the number of respins is reset to 3, with this process continuing until none remain, or the board is filled with symbols. All the gloves will then award a fixed value based on the stake size.  

Multi Wheel  

Landing four 'V' symbols will award a spin on the Multi Wheel. As the name suggests, this wheel is made up of multiple sections:   

• Inside Wheel - Contains a multiplier.  
• Middle Wheel - Contains fixed values, based on the stake size.  
• Outer Wheel - Can be blank or display a respin.  

For each spin, the multiplier and fixed value will be added to the total for the round. When a spin of the wheel with a respin occurs, the current multiplier will be applied to the fixed value and awarded.  

Rocky Balboa Training 

Finally, landing 4 'RB' symbols simultaneously will trigger the Rocky Balboa Training round. A prize ladder will appear to the right of the screen, showing values between 1x and 1,000x. The red box marks the player's current position, with the option to 'Push Harder' or collect popping up on the screen.  

Players can choose to collect the current highlighted value, or 'Push Harder' to gamble. The outcome of each gamble is completely random. However, a loss will see the player return to the base game empty-handed.
