Here at BetVictor News, we’ll be following the latest Queens Park Rangers stats throughout 2026/27 as Julien Stéphan looks to move the Hoops beyond another season spent around the middle of the Championship.
QPR finished 15th with 58 points last term, winning 16 of their 46 league games. The position was identical to 2024/25, although the football looked rather different. Rangers scored 61 times, eight more than the previous campaign, but conceding 73 meant much of that extra attacking work was cancelled out at the other end.
Goals were shared around too. Richard Kone and Rumarn Burrell both reached 10 in the Championship, giving Stéphan more than one regular threat rather than leaving the responsibility with a single forward.
The obvious area to watch now is the defence. QPR still managed ten home wins last season, so Loftus Road wasn’t the main problem, but 20 league defeats made it difficult to build any sustained momentum. Stéphan himself spoke at the end of the campaign about wanting more than simply being safe several games before May.
If Rangers can keep the improvement going forward while cutting down the number conceded, the gap towards the top half should become a useful measure of progress during 2026/27.
