Bonus Features
Inferno Core
The Inferno Core sits beneath the reels and collects Bonus Inferno Coins whenever they land. Coins can contain Reward Boost values, Power Boost prizes, or Mystery Boost rewards. As more coins are collected, progress builds toward the Hold n' Load feature.
Hold n' Load
The Hold n' Load feature begins when a Bonus Inferno Coin is collected.
During the feature, only Bonus Inferno Coins can land on the reels. Coins remain locked in place once they appear, while players receive three respins. Every new coin resets the respin counter back to three.
Additional rows can be unlocked by collecting enough Bonus Inferno Coins, expanding the playing area from four rows up to eight. The feature also includes Extra Boost multipliers that can randomly appear and increase the value of positions.
Lightning Blaze
Lightning Blaze activates when a Horseshoe symbol lands on reel three.
When triggered, between three and twenty Fire Frames appear across the reels, transforming symbols into animal symbols.
Fire Free Spins
The Fire Free Spins feature awards eight spins where the standard Colt symbol transforms into the more valuable Fire Colt, and an additional row is added to the grid increasing the number of ways to win from 1,024 to 3,125.

The base game plays out on a 5 reel, 4 row grid where winning combos can connect in 1,024 ways. During Fire Free Spins, a fifth row is added to the grid, increasing the total number of ways to win to 3,125.

- We think Colt Lightning Inferno does a solid job of building on the foundations established by the earlier games in the series. The setting remains familiar, but the introduction of the Hold n' Load feature gives this version a noticeably different focus.
- The Fire Colt remains the visual highlight. Seeing the horse transform during free spins helps the feature feel more significant, while the extra row adds a welcome change to the gameplay structure. We also like the collection mechanics attached to the Inferno Core, as they provide a sense of progression between feature activations.
- If there is one drawback, it is that the various boost types and coin mechanics can all be a bit confusing but once everything clicks into place, however, the game offers plenty of activity. Players who enjoy collection systems, expanding reels, and feature-heavy gameplay are likely to get the most from Colt Lightning Inferno.
