Bass Cash Monstrosity Slot Game Review

There’s something about fishing online slots that keeps dragging developers back to the dock. Bass Cash Monstrosity is a prime example. It takes that familiar angler setup and gives it sharper teeth. Built by Alchemy Gaming, this 5 reel, 1,024 ways slot game mixes Cash Collect mechanics, a roaming Monster Stash and bonus spins.

Theme & Graphic

The setting heads below the surface, but not into calm waters. Instead, it’s murky, slightly chaotic, and populated by deep sea creatures that look both aggressive and oddly charming. The Monster Fish itself has oversized eyes and a cartoonish bite, while Winston the dog who plays sidekick, occasionally diving into the reels with a purpose. Apart from these two, the other symbols combine fishing gear, bright fish, and royal card ranks rendered in glowing teal.

Payout Table

The symbol structure splits clearly between lower paying royals and higher value fishing icons that appear to be a must for all of these slots. A complete paytable is provided below:

Special Symbols

  • Wild: Substitutes for all standard symbols except Scatter, Bonus, Cash, Jackpot and Collect. Wilds do not appear on reel 1.
  • Scatter: Pays in any position and its potential wins are added to way wins. Three or more trigger bonus spins.
  • Cash Symbols: Display credit values and can include jackpot tiers. They require a Collect symbol to pay.
  • Fisherman Collect: Appears on reels 1 and 5 and gathers all visible Cash and Jackpot values. Two Collect symbols gather them twice.
  • Hook Bonus Symbol: Landing on all five reels activates the separate bonus feature.

Bonus Features

Cash Collect

This is the backbone of the game. Cash and Jackpot symbols can land across the reels, but they only convert into a potential payout if a Fisherman Collect symbol appears on reel 1 or 5. If it does, it gathers every visible value on the screen. If two Collect symbols land together, those values are gathered twice.

Jackpot tiers include Mini, Minor, Major and Mega, with the top tier showing a 5,000x value. Cash symbols range from smaller fractions up to higher single spin multipliers.

Monster Stash

The Monster Fish randomly intervenes by stashing any uncollected Cash and Jackpot prizes. If it’s later caught, those stored values are potentially paid out. If it escapes, the stash resets in the base game.

During bonus spins, the dynamic changes slightly. The Monster Fish continues stashing uncollected values, and at the end of the feature there’s always a chance to catch and claim what it has gathered. If it gets away during the feature, the stash carries back into the base game instead of vanishing.

Cash Multipliers

Multiplier symbols ranging from 2x up to 10x can land on reel 1. In the base game they apply to visible Cash values for that spin. In bonus spins they combine with the feature’s multiplier trail, increasing the potential total for the current round.

Bonus Spins Trail

Three Scatters trigger 10 bonus spins. The Scatter symbols upgrade over time from green to bronze, silver and gold. Each upgrade can add pre collected Fisherman symbols to the bonus trail, making it easier to build multipliers and extend the feature.

Collecting Fisherman symbols during bonus spins fills the trail. When 4, 8 or 12 are collected, multipliers such as 2x, 3x and 10x activate and additional spins are awarded.

Winston’s Wild Catch

On any spin, Winston may dive into the reels and reveal extra Cash values or Cash values with a random multiplier attached. It’s a quick modifier rather than a full feature, but it can shift a round noticeably.

Hook Bonus

Landing the Hook Bonus symbol on all five reels activates a separate bonus round. Reel 1 expands with a large Fisherman Collect symbol, while the remaining reels fill with Cash or Trophy symbols. All visible values are gathered at once.

Spin Mechanics

Bass Cash Monstrosity runs on a 5 reel grid with 1,024 ways to win with wins forming when matching symbols land from left to right starting on reel 1. Because it uses ways rather than fixed paylines, adjacent reels with matching symbols create multiple potential combinations in one spin.

Standard symbol wins resolve first. After that, Cash and Collect interactions can apply. Multipliers, Winston modifiers and stash effects are calculated within the same round before everything resets for the next spin.

Similar Slots

If deep sea symbols and collect mechanics haven’t gotten old yet, there are a few other casino games that swim in similar waters:

  • Epic Fish Marlin Madness: Yet another fishing title from Quickspin with an obsession for collect symbols and escalating multipliers.
  • Fishin' Frenzy Megaways: Probably the most famous fishing slot on the market, only this time Blueprint adds in the Megaways mechanic for good measure.
  • Mustang and Stallions: While this one isn’t exactly fishing themed, it shares the ways to win format and multiplier driven bonus structure we talked about here.

BetVictor’s Opinion

Fishing slots aren’t exactly rare, so standing out takes more than another smiling angler. Bass Cash Monstrosity manages it by stacking multiple modifiers that interact in interesting ways. The Monster Stash adds uncertainty, especially when it carries over between modes, while the bonus trail is there to give it all a sense of progression.
