Blueprint Gaming has gone back to the attic to dust off another Goonies slot. The Goonies Quest For Treasure 2 carries over a lot of the ideas from previous entries, only this time there’s a bit more chaos baked into the base game. Cash prizes can suddenly drop in, modifiers can set off at random, and a treasure trail promises bigger things with enough persistence.  

You get the usual Goonies aesthetic here: flickering cave lights, pirate maps, and a general sense that no one brought enough torches for this. The game grid is buried in the middle of a dim cave, flanked by treasure chests and lit by what might be a health-and-safety hazard. A few character symbols are taken straight from the movie, Sloth included, and Sloth also occasionally lumbers onto the screen to mess with the reels. There’s music, yes, but you’ll notice it more when the reels stop spinning. 

There’s a good spread of symbols in this one, ranging from standard card values to the actual Goonies. Character symbols pay higher, and the skull flag takes top billing. 

Special Symbols 

Wild Symbol: Substitutes for all paying symbols except Scatter, Collect, Cash Prize, and Treasure Wheel. Wilds only appear on reels 2 to 6.  

Scatter Symbols: Represented by treasure chests. Used to trigger Treasure Spins.  

Collect Symbol: Triggers the collect mechanic and progression trail when paired with Cash Prize symbols.  

Cash Prize Symbol: Displays credit values and can be collected when a Collect symbol appears.  

Treasure Wheel Symbol: Awards a cash prize and may collect all visible Cash Prize values. 

Hey You Guys Modifiers 

These modifiers can randomly trigger on any base game spin. Sloth causes a bit of chaos, sometimes adding Cash Prize symbols (Hidden Treasure), extra Scatters (Bonus Boost), or throwing dynamite onto the reels (Dynamite Blast) to upgrade symbols. Cave In can remove symbols for a potential win, and Collect Boost enhances any visible Collect values before scooping up the prizes. 

Collect Feature 

When a Collect Symbol lands on reels 1 or 6 with at least one Cash Prize Symbol in view, it gathers up the values and triggers a step forward on the trail above the reels. The Collect Symbol itself expands to make this effect a bit more dramatic. 

Trail Unlocks 

Each step on the trail unlocks a feature for the remainder of the spins. These include: 

• Cascade Collect: Keeps Collect and Cash Prize Symbols on screen while other symbols cascade. 
• Mystery Symbol: All Mystery Symbols reveal the same symbol. 
• Boost Collect: Adds a multiplier to each Cash Prize. 
• Treasure Wheel: Adds a spin that may collect all cash prizes. 
• X-Collect: Awards all visible Cash Prizes up to 5x. 
• One Eyed Willy Spins: Unlocks an enhanced Free Spins mode. 
• Power Play: Unlocks the Power Play mode (details not shown in-game). 

Treasure Spins 

Triggered by landing 3 or more Scatter Symbols. You get 10 free spins, with 20x, 100x, or 500x potential payouts for triggering with 4, 5, or 6 Scatters. One or more chests activate different effects: 

• Red Chest: Collect Symbol expands. 
• Blue Chest: Only Collect and Cash Prize symbols appear. 
• Green Chest: Trail Multipliers are upgraded (3x, 4x, 8x, 20x). 

Chests can potentially be combined. Collecting 3 Collects awards +5 spins and increases the multiplier to 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x, respectively. 

One Eyed Willy Spins 

Unlocked via the trail. Plays like the Treasure Spins, but instead of upgrading multipliers, it adds large batches of Cash Prize Symbols (20, 30, 50, or even 100) directly to the reels. 

This slot runs on a 6x4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, with payouts awarded for adjacent matching symbols starting from the leftmost reel. Cascading reels and bonus-triggering symbols keep the momentum going, especially with modifiers capable of overriding the usual spin outcome. It's one of the more animated setups you’ll see in an online casino slot, and one where the screen definitely won’t sit still for long.

The modifiers alone make the base game busy, and the Collect mechanic finally gives the map trail some teeth. If anything, Blueprint might’ve overcomplicated a few things, unlocking the full set of features takes a while. But for those of you that don’t mind the game-within-a-game feeling, there’s enough to chew on here.
