Each spring, the world's top 32 players arrive at the legendary Crucible Theatre in Sheffield to compete at the top global event in snooker, the World Snooker Championship. We're treated to over two weeks of world-class snooker, with all the skill, tension, drama, and glory you could ask for.
The 2021 World Championship will take place between the 17th of April and the 3rd of May and will see 32 players competing in a knockout competition of 5 rounds. Matches in round 1 will be played as the best of 19 frames, round 2 and the quarter finals the best of 25 frames, the semi-final the best of 33, and the final the best of 35 frames.
