Documents we may require

We want your time with us as a customer to be as trouble free as possible but we have responsibilities under our Ontario gaming licence and GDPR to make sure we know our customers

We need to establish that we have our all customers correct name, address and date of birth.

If a customer plays with us beyond certain thresholds we also may request proof of income to satisfy our responsible gaming obligations and on rare occasions we may request a “selfie” with a corresponding photographic ID to be 100 per cent sure of identity.

Other reasons why we may restrict transactions including withdrawals on a customer’s account are:

A discrepancy between the registered account holder and owner of the payment card on the account

Funds being requested to payment method other than original source

Government-issued photo identification document with visible address (3 months)

Pay Stub (Payslip)

Selfie and matching document

Canadian Permanent resident card

Canada Pension Plan (CPP) statement within 12 months

Tax and Benefit Return (T1)

 

Canadian Citizenship card (issued prior to 2012)

Property tax assessment issued by a municipality (3 months)

Statement of Remuneration Paid (T4)

 

Canadian Secure Certificate of Indian Status

Provincially issued vehicle registration

Bank Statement

 

Provincial / territorial ID cards


Benefits statement (Federal, provincial, territorial, or municipal levels)

 

 

 

Provincial / territorial Driver’s Licences

Utility or Tax bill (for example, electricity, water, broadband telecommunications)

 

 

Photo identification document issued by a foreign federal, provincial or territorial government (for example, foreign driver's licence or passport)

Registered investment account statements (for example, RRSP, TFSA or RRIF) savings accounts (3 months)

 

 

 

Insurance documents (home, auto, life) 12 months

 

 

 

Medicare letters (3 months)

 

 

 

Credit card statement

 

 

 


For a currently enrolled student, a transcript or documentation issued by a school that contains a unique reference number
