Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Roulette

About Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Roulette Live Game

Just like the name suggests, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Roulette game is based on the infamous television series that remains popular around the world. The appearance is set to mimic the show, featuring blue panels, a giant screen, and the two monitors that the contestant and host would use when the game is in session.

Naturally, a live dealer presents the action, manually spinning the wheel and adding the ball after each betting phase has concluded. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Roulette uses a European variation of the game, too, meaning that only 1 zero pocket is present on the wheel itself. As for the minimum stake size in this release, it sits at 0.20.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Roulette was created by Playtech, a provider that looks to ensure an immersive experience across its range of online casino games. They have other live shows in their portfolio, alongside plenty of slots, such as Age of the Gods: God of Storms, Buffalo Blitz, and Silent Samurai: Mega Cash Collect.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Roulette Bonus Features

There are two bonus features in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Roulette, both of which come with a handful of different components.

Millionaire Numbers

At the start of each round, after bets have been placed, anywhere from 1 to 10 Millionaire Numbers will be selected. These can come with one of three symbols attached to them:

  • Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Logo - Bronze or gold variations of this symbol exist, being linked to the 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' round, with 8 or 10 questions being asked, respectively.
  • Multiplier - This multiplier will always show 100x.
  • Question Mark - The question mark logo can show a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Bonus round with a maximum potential win of 150x or 300x, alongside a multiplier of 50x or 100x.

Now, if the ball falls into a Millionaire Number pocket, all inside bets will be awarded with the associated potential winnings. Keep in mind that all of the inside bets will contribute differently:

  • Straight-up Bet - Full amount.
  • Split Bet – Half of the original bet amount (1/2)
  • Street Bet – A third of the original bet amount (1/3)
  • Corner Bet - A fourth of the original bet amount (1/4)
  • Basket Bet - A fourth of the original bet amount (1/4)
  • Line Bet - A sixth of the original amount (1/6)

If the chosen Millionaire Number features a multiplier, it will be awarded at the corresponding rate. For example, a 1.00 stake on a split bet would award 50.00 (Half the original bet amount multiplied by 100x). Adversely, if a question mark Millionaire Number is picked, the corresponding bonus will be revealed. Should this be a multiplier, it will be applied to the contributing bet amount and be awarded to the player.

Millionaire Bonus

Finally, there is the Millionaire Bonus, which can consist of 5, 8, or 10 rounds, depending on whether it was triggered by a Question Mark, the Bronze Logo, or the Gold Logo symbol. In this round, players are asked the same question each round, which is 'Which of the four boxes has the highest multiplier?". Players must then pick one of the four answers to reveal a multiplier or an X.

Should a multiplier be picked, it will be added to the total for the round, while an X will end the bonus immediately. During the first three (If the bonus was triggered with a question mark) or five rounds (If the bonus was triggered with a logo symbol), there are no X icons present. Naturally, these multipliers can also increase as the rounds progress.

It's also worth mentioning that there are three lifelines available to players that can be used once each during the bonus:

  • 50-50 - Two incorrect answers will be removed from play.
  • Ask the Audience - The virtual audience votes on which answer they think holds the highest multiplier.
  • Ask the Host - The host removes the lowest multipliers from the game. One or more can be removed, depending on which round is currently being played.

Once players pick an X or make a successful guess in the final round, the accumulated multiplier will be applied to the stake size, based on the contribution of the triggering bet, before being awarded. The game will then restart from the betting phase.
