Playing Lightning Blackjack starts much like any other blackjack game, but with a few key differences due to the inclusion of the Lightning Fee. To begin, you’ll need to place your bet by selecting a chip value and placing it on the betting circle. In addition to your main wager, a Lightning Fee matching the bet will also be deducted. Lightning Blackjack Rules 

At its core, Lightning Blackjack follows the traditional rules of blackjack, but there are a few modifications to consider. The game uses eight decks of cards shuffled into a manual dealing shoe, and the dealer stands on all 17s, both hard and soft. Players can double down on their first two cards and split any pairs, though split aces will only receive one additional card. Blackjack pays out at 3:2, and insurance can be taken when the dealer shows an ace, paying out 2:1 if the dealer has a blackjack. 

What sets Lightning Blackjack apart is the mandatory Lightning Fee, which is charged alongside your main bet each round. This fee contributes to the multiplier system, where winning hands are assigned a random multiplier between 2x and 25x. These multipliers are based on the total value of the winning hand, ranging from values as low as 4 to as high as blackjack. The multiplier is then carried over to the next round, boosting potential payouts if you win consecutive hands. 

Lightning Multipliers and Carry-Over Multipliers 

The key feature in Lightning Blackjack is the multiplier system. After the betting round closes, hand values between 4 and 21 are randomly assigned multipliers ranging from 2x to 25x. When you potentially win a hand, the corresponding multiplier is assigned to your next hand, boosting potential future payouts.  

The multipliers don’t just apply for one round either. Once you’ve secured a multiplier, it carries over to your next hand and can be held for up to 180 days. This means you can strategically decide when to leverage the multiplier for an even bigger payout, rather than using it right away.
