There is no major live boxing on UK television tonight, Friday 14 August 2026. The wait is short, though. Claressa Shields returns tomorrow night in Atlanta, with UK viewers able to watch her middleweight title fight against Kaye Scott during the early hours of Sunday morning. The DAZN broadcast begins at 1am BST.
After that, the boxing calendar gets busy very quickly. George Liddard fights for the European middleweight title next weekend, Moses Itauma takes the biggest test of his career at The O2, Chantelle Cameron faces Mikaela Mayer in Birmingham and Katie Taylor’s final fight follows at Croke Park in September.

Is There Boxing on Tonight?
There is no major boxing being shown live on UK television tonight, Friday 14 August. The next televised card for British viewers is Claressa Shields vs Kaye Scott on DAZN.
That fight takes place in Atlanta on Saturday evening, which pushes the UK broadcast into Sunday morning.
DAZN currently lists its coverage from 1am BST on Sunday 16 August. Salita Promotions has the main event scheduled for 9pm local time in Atlanta, which converts to approximately 2am BST. As ever with boxing, the ring-walk time can shift if earlier fights run long.
So if you’ve arrived here searching for boxing on tonight, there isn’t a major UK broadcast on Friday. The first big fight of the weekend comes overnight on Saturday.
Boxing This Weekend: Claressa Shields vs Kaye Scott
Claressa Shields moving back down to middleweight gives this weekend a little more intrigue than the odds might suggest.
Shields has spent the latest part of her career collecting titles at higher weights, but she returns to 160lb to challenge Australia’s Kaye Scott for the WBA and WBC middleweight belts at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The event will also make history as the venue’s first boxing show headlined by women.
Shields comes in at 18-0. Scott’s professional record is only 5-1-1, although those numbers hide a deep amateur background and the fact she already holds two major world titles.
The main card includes:

- Ernesto Mercado vs Emmanuel Tagoe, super-lightweight
- Troy Isley vs Joseph Hicks, middleweight

The card begins earlier in Atlanta, but the DAZN portion aimed at its wider audience is scheduled from 1am BST for British viewers.

One week later, British boxing has something much closer to home.
George Liddard vs Dario Morello
Unbeaten London middleweight George Liddard challenges Dario Morello for the vacant European title at York Hall.
It is a proper step up.
Liddard is 14-0 with eight stoppages, while Morello arrives at 26-1. Matchroom has deliberately moved Liddard quickly enough that this isn’t simply another prospect fight dressed up as a main event. European gold would move him towards the much more serious end of the middleweight picture.
DAZN currently lists the card from 7pm BST on Saturday 22 August.
Rolly Romero vs Teofimo Lopez
Later that night, attention switches to Las Vegas.
Rolando “Rolly” Romero defends the WBA welterweight title against Teofimo Lopez in one of August’s more unpredictable match-ups.
Lopez has operated at a higher technical level over the course of his career, but Romero has never exactly specialised in calm, predictable fights. That alone gives this one some edge.
The WBA confirms the welterweight title is at stake, while DAZN lists coverage from 11.30pm BST on Saturday night.
That means British fans can realistically watch Liddard at York Hall and then move straight into the Las Vegas card.
Saturday 29 August Is the Big One
If there is one date to circle in the August boxing schedule, it is 29 August.
British fans somehow have two major cards competing for attention on the same evening.
Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic
Moses Itauma faces Filip Hrgovic at The O2 in London.
When this fight was first announced, it was already the clearest test of Itauma’s career. It has since become considerably bigger. Following Oleksandr Usyk’s decision to vacate the IBF belt, Itauma vs Hrgovic was upgraded to a fight for the vacant IBF heavyweight world title.
Itauma is only 21 and remains unbeaten at 14-0, with 12 wins inside the distance. Hrgovic brings Olympic pedigree, considerably more professional experience and the sort of heavyweight size that Itauma hasn’t often had to solve.
DAZN currently lists the London broadcast beginning at 5pm BST, with the event available on DAZN PPV.

A win here would change that article rather dramatically.
He would no longer be Britain’s most exciting heavyweight prospect.
He would be a world champion.
Mikaela Mayer vs Chantelle Cameron
At almost exactly the same time, Birmingham hosts another world-title card.
Chantelle Cameron puts her WBO super-welterweight belt into a unification fight with WBA and WBC champion Mikaela Mayer at bp pulse LIVE.
Sky Sports will show the event in the UK, with television coverage currently listed from 7pm BST.
There is a strong card beneath it too. Caroline Dubois defends her WBC and WBO lightweight titles, while Terri Harper is also in action as she starts another campaign in a new division.
So 29 August leaves British boxing fans with a choice.
Heavyweights at The O2 on DAZN.
Or an elite world-title unification card in Birmingham on Sky Sports.
Most of us will probably end up trying to watch both.
Andy Ruiz Jr Returns on 4 September
Andy Ruiz Jr’s career has never followed a particularly normal path.
He shocked Anthony Joshua in 2019, lost the rematch six months later and has fought only sporadically since. His latest absence reaches more than two years by the time he returns against Damian Knyba on Friday 4 September.
Ruiz vs Knyba takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Matchroom confirmed the fight as Ruiz’s first after signing a promotional deal with the company. Knyba comes in at 17-1 and stands 6ft 7in, giving the former unified champion a very different physical problem from the one he usually presents opponents himself.
For UK viewers, DAZN lists the card from 1am BST on Saturday 5 September.

Katie Taylor vs Flora Pili on 5 September
Later that same Saturday, one of the biggest nights of the year arrives much closer to home.
Katie Taylor fights for the final time at Croke Park.
Taylor faces undefeated French challenger Flora Pili in front of more than 80,000 supporters, with the WBA, WBO and IBF titles alongside the vacant WBC super-lightweight belt. Victory would allow Taylor to end her career as undisputed champion once again.
The scale of the night goes beyond belts.
Croke Park hasn’t staged professional boxing since Muhammad Ali fought Alvin Lewis there in 1972. Taylor spent years trying to bring a major fight to the stadium. She finally gets it for the last one.
DAZN coverage starts at 7pm BST, with Taylor and Pili currently expected to make their ring walks at around 10pm.

Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn on 12 September
Then comes one with plenty of British interest from Las Vegas.
Conor Benn challenges Ryan Garcia for the WBC welterweight title at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday 12 September.
For Benn, it is the world-title opportunity his career has been building towards. Garcia won the belt against Mario Barrios earlier this year and now makes his first defence against a challenger who will try to crowd him, attack the body and take away the space his fast hands need.
DAZN currently lists the UK broadcast from 1am BST on Sunday 13 September. The final main-event ring-walk time hasn’t been confirmed, although a Las Vegas headline fight would normally land several hours later.

More Upcoming Boxing Fights in 2026
September doesn’t finish with Taylor and Benn.
Manchester gets an excellent domestic cruiserweight fight on 19 September, when unbeaten prospects Pat Brown and John Hedges meet at Co-op Live. Matchroom has the British and Commonwealth titles attached to the contest.
Then Ben Whittaker returns to Birmingham on 3 October.
Whittaker faces Australian southpaw Conor Wallace in an IBF light-heavyweight final eliminator, comfortably the most meaningful fight of his professional career so far. The winner puts himself in position for a world-title opportunity.

Canelo Alvarez is also due to return against Christian Mbilli later in October. That bout was originally targeted for September but was pushed into the new Riyadh Season schedule. Where Can You Watch Boxing in the UK?
There is no single channel that carries every big fight.
That is one reason searches for boxing on TV tonight are so common. The rights change depending on the promoter, event and sometimes the country staging it.
DAZN currently carries a large chunk of the 2026 schedule, including Shields vs Scott, Liddard vs Morello, Itauma vs Hrgovic, Ruiz vs Knyba, Taylor vs Pili and Garcia vs Benn. Some major events are standard subscription cards, while others are offered as PPV or included within certain DAZN packages.
Sky Sports remains heavily involved too. Mayer vs Cameron and the accompanying Birmingham card on 29 August will be shown there.
That is why it is worth checking individual fight details rather than assuming every event from the same promoter will be shown in exactly the same way.
What Time Does Boxing Start Tonight?
There are really two different times to look for.
The first is the broadcast start. That is when coverage begins and usually includes several undercard fights.
The second is the main-event ring walk.
Those can be hours apart.
An American card beginning at 1am in Britain might not produce its main event until 3am or 4am. On a UK card, television could begin at 7pm while the headliners don’t appear until after 10pm.
Even then, a ring-walk time is rarely exact.
Three early knockouts can push a headline fight forward. A run of decisions can send it backwards. Television producers also have their own windows to work within.
For that reason, this page will use confirmed broadcast times first and clearly label approximate main-event times where organisers haven’t published a fixed running order.
Boxing Tonight Odds
Fight schedules and betting markets often develop at different speeds.
A bout may be announced months before every method-of-victory, round or knockdown market appears. More options normally arrive as fight night gets closer.
The basic fight-winner market asks you to choose either boxer, with a draw available where appropriate. Other markets can include method of victory, total rounds, grouped-round betting and whether a contest goes the distance. The exact selection varies from fight to fight.
