Piggy Heist put a crew of cartoon pigs on the wrong side of the law but instead of counting cash, they’re cracking safes. This release from Play’n GO runs on a 6x4 grid with 4,096 ways to win and throws in coin collection, wild upgrades, and an optional vault gamble feature for those feeling particularly reckless. It’s not brand new material for online slots, but it does come with some chaos and a Hold’n Spin bonus that keeps things ticking.
The piggy gang comes armed with gadgets, glasses, cash, and questionable plans. The background looks more like a military installation than a bank, with vault doors and metal panels decorating the space. Each character is sharply defined in bright, bold colours, and they’re easy to distinguish once you’ve seen them in motion. Symbols bounce lightly on landing, the Vault Wild meter fills with stethoscopes, and the overall aesthetic suggests the pigs might be better organised than expected.
The paytable is split between card ranks and pig characters. Here’s what you can expect for matching symbols.
Symbol | Payouts for 3, 4, 5, and 6 of a kind |
J | 0.15x, 0.30x, 0.60x, 1.50x |
Q | 0.15x, 0.30x, 0.75x, 1.50x |
K | 0.15x, 0.30x, 0.75x, 1.50x |
A | 0.30x, 0.60x, 1.05x, 1.50x |

Pig in Blue | 0.45x, 0.75x, 1.50x, 3.00x |
Pig with Wrench (pink) | 0.60x, 1.20x, 2.25x, 4.50x |
Pig in Red | 0.60x, 1.20x, 3.00x, 6.00x |

Coin symbols land with values and wait to be collected. If a Coin Pouch lands on reel 1 or 6, it pulls in all visible Coin values. If two Coin Pouches land, they collect twice. If Coins aren’t picked up by a Pouch, they’re gathered by the Safe instead. Collected Coins may randomly trigger the Hold’n Spin feature.
Once triggered, the game grants three spins where only Coins can land. All Coins stick in place and reset the spin count when new ones land. At the end of the round, each Coin flips to reveal a value between 1x and 30x. The round can continue up to 30 respins if Coins keep landing.
After Hold’n Spin, the Vault Gamble allows players to risk their potential winnings. A single spin reveals either Double Coins or Police Badges. If Double Coins land, winnings are doubled. If more Police Badges appear, the entire bonus payout is lost. The gamble can be taken up to four times in a row.
Collecting six stethoscopes unlocks the next stage of Vault Wilds. Each stage introduces a new Wild variant. Stage 1 is a standard Wild. Stage 2 adds multiplier Wilds (x2 to x5). Stage 3 includes expanding Wilds and multiplier expanding Wilds. Stage 4 unlocks Chobby Wilds with respins. Stage 5 brings expanding walking Wilds that move leftward with respins. Stage 6 introduces a Mega 2x2 Wild. Only one Wild type can be active at a time, and up to two Mega Wilds can appear. If a multiplier Wild lands, all other Wilds adopt its multiplier.
Piggy Heist uses a 6x4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, where wins form left to right on adjacent reels, regardless of row position. The game doesn’t use traditional paylines and instead evaluates symbol matches based on position across reels. Coin features, wilds, and safes function independently from symbol payouts, and the Vault Wild progression continues across spins.
Piggy Heist is definitely something but it’s not one of a kind. It shares mechanics and tone with other feature-heavy online casino games by Play’n GO and beyond:
Piggy Heist is Play’n GO’s way of dressing up Crabby’s Gold in a new costume without investing in new mechanics. If you’ve played the original, this version won’t do much to surprise. Still, it’s loud, reasonably entertaining, and the Vault Wild system does add some long-term reward tension. The Vault Gamble is clearly built to stir some drama, but whether that’s worth the risk is up for debate.
