Who Is The Favourite To Win The 2026 US Masters?

The First Golf Major Of The Year Gets Underway Next Week

US Masters | Augusta National, Georgia | April 9-12, 2026

The countdown is very much on for the 2026 edition of the US Masters with a number of stars all in the mix to take home the coveted Green Jacket. Hosted at the world famous Augusta National Golf Club, over 90 players will compete for the chance to land the first major of the year.

Here at BetVictor News, we take a closer look into the outright US Masters favourite and examine their chances of success. Furthermore, we will also look into the other leading contenders who are all expected to jostle for glory.

Who Is The US Masters Favourite In 2026?

As of April 1, 2026, the US Masters odds favour Scottie Scheffler. The world No 1 is available at 9/2 and is being widely backed to earn his third victory at Augusta. Scheffler tasted success in 2022 and 2024 and will clearly be the man to beat.

He is already rising on the US Masters winners list and another victory would put him on par with Jimmy Demaret, Sam Snead, Gary Player, Nick Faldo and Phil Mickelson. ‘Top Scheffler’ placed fourth last year and T10 in 2023. His dominant form at Augusta should not be ignored lightly. He’ll be expected to be fighting hard going into the Sunday.

Rory McIlroy US Masters Odds

Naturally, defending US Masters champions Rory McIlroy is also being tipped to have a strong tournament. The Northern Irish ace actually completed the Grand Slam with victory at Augusta in 2025 and BetVictor’s US Masters betting market has McIlroy available at 10/1.

His 11-year wait to complete the GS certainly silenced his doubters. Rory can join the likes of Tiger Woods, Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus in becoming just the fourth golfer to win consecutive US Masters titles. That in itself provides plenty of incentive for the 36-year-old.

2026 US Masters Outright Odds

The other leading contenders in the 2026 US Masters outright odds market include Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Ludvig Aberg, Xander Schauffele and Englishmen Matt Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood. In theory, any one of them can swing to glory but Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy will be the duo most likely.

  • Scottie Scheffler – 9/2
  • Rory McIlroy – 10/1
  • Bryson DeChambeau – 11/1
  • Jon Rahm – 12/1
  • Ludvig Aberg – 14/1
  • Xander Schauffele – 16/1
  • Matt Fitzpatrick 18/1
  • Tommy Fleetwood – 22/1
  • Cameron Young – 22/1
  • Bar – 25/1
