Katie Taylor Record: Wins, Only Loss, Titles & Final Fight

Katie Taylor Record

Katie Taylor will walk to the ring for the final time on Saturday 5 September, bringing one of boxing’s most influential careers to an end at Croke Park in Dublin.

The Irish great enters her farewell fight against Flora Pili with a professional record of 25 wins and one defeat, including six victories inside the distance. That record only tells part of the story. Taylor has become undisputed champion in two weight divisions, beaten Amanda Serrano three times, avenged the only loss of her career and helped turn women’s boxing into a genuine arena-level attraction.

Her final night also offers one last piece of history. Victory over Pili would see Taylor collect the vacant WBC super-lightweight belt alongside her WBA, IBF and WBO titles, allowing her to retire as undisputed champion once again.

What Is Katie Taylor’s Boxing Record?

Katie Taylor’s professional boxing record currently stands at:

  • Fights: 26
  • Wins: 25
  • Losses: 1
  • Knockout wins: 6
  • Professional debut: 2016
  • Current division: Super-lightweight
  • Only professional loss: Chantelle Cameron

Taylor’s record is especially impressive when you consider the level of opposition she has faced. Rather than protecting an unbeaten run against carefully selected opponents, she spent most of her championship career fighting other world champions.

Amanda Serrano, Chantelle Cameron, Delfine Persoon, Natasha Jonas and Jessica McCaskill all appear on her professional résumé.

She has also fought away from home for most of her career, with some of her biggest nights taking place in London, New York and Texas.

Croke Park therefore feels less like another title defence and more like a reward that took nearly a decade to arrive.

Who Is the Only Boxer to Beat Katie Taylor?

Chantelle Cameron is the only professional boxer to defeat Katie Taylor.

They first fought at Dublin’s 3Arena in May 2023. Taylor moved up to super-lightweight to challenge Cameron for the undisputed championship, but the homecoming did not go as planned.

Cameron applied pressure throughout the fight, made the exchanges physical and won a majority decision after ten rounds. Two judges scored the contest 96-94 in Cameron’s favour, while the third had it level.

For Taylor, it was the first professional defeat of her career after 22 consecutive wins. Six months later, she asked for exactly the same fight again.

The rematch produced one of the defining performances of Taylor’s career. She changed her approach, boxed with far more urgency and beat Cameron by majority decision to become undisputed super-lightweight champion.

That remains the only blemish on Taylor’s record, and she avenged it at the first opportunity.

Why Was There Never a Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron Trilogy?

A third Taylor vs Cameron fight looked almost inevitable after the pair split their first two meetings.

Taylor herself called for the trilogy immediately after winning the rematch, with Croke Park initially discussed as the dream venue. It never came together.

Cameron has since continued her career and remains one of the leading fighters in women’s boxing, while Taylor eventually chose unbeaten mandatory challenger Flora Pili for her farewell fight.

That means the rivalry finishes at 1-1.

It is one of the few loose ends in a career where Taylor generally settled the major questions inside the ring. Cameron can always say she was the only professional fighter to beat her, while Taylor can point towards winning the rematch with all four super-lightweight belts at stake.

What Is Katie Taylor’s Record Against Amanda Serrano?

Katie Taylor has a perfect 3-0 record against Amanda Serrano. Their rivalry became one of the most important in the history of women’s boxing.

The first meeting took place at Madison Square Garden in April 2022 and became the first women’s fight to headline the famous New York arena. Taylor survived a difficult middle section before winning a close split decision. They waited more than two years for the rematch.

Taylor beat Serrano again in November 2024, this time by unanimous decision on the enormous Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson card in Texas. It was another fiercely contested fight, with Serrano applying pressure for much of the contest while Taylor found enough clean work to take all three scorecards.

The trilogy returned to Madison Square Garden in July 2025.

Rather than producing another all-out war, the third fight was more tactical. Taylor controlled distance better and picked her moments, taking a majority decision to complete a remarkable 3-0 sweep.

Serrano never managed to beat Taylor, but the score does not quite capture how competitive the rivalry was.

It now deserves a place alongside the feuds covered in our guide to the greatest boxing rivalries of all time.

What World Titles Has Katie Taylor Won?

Taylor’s collection of world titles stretches across two divisions.

She first became a professional world champion at lightweight, winning the WBA title in 2017 before gradually adding the IBF, WBO and WBC belts.

Her 2019 victory over Delfine Persoon made her undisputed lightweight champion, placing all four major belts in her possession.

Taylor later moved up to super-lightweight and eventually repeated the achievement.

After losing her first attempt against Cameron, she won the rematch in November 2023 to become undisputed at 140lb. In doing so, she joined the small group of boxers to become undisputed champion in two divisions during the four-belt era.

Her farewell fight offers another unusual milestone. Taylor currently holds the WBA, IBF and WBO super-lightweight titles, while the vacant WBC belt is also on the line against Flora Pili.

Win that and she finishes with all four once again.

Katie Taylor’s Amateur Career

Long before the professional world titles, Taylor had already built one of the great amateur careers.

She won five consecutive World Championship gold medals, six European Championship titles and Olympic gold at London 2012. The Olympic victory was particularly important.

Women’s boxing had only been added to the Olympic programme for the first time at London 2012, and Taylor arrived as one of Ireland’s biggest medal hopes. She beat Russia’s Sofya Ochigava in the lightweight final to take gold in front of a loud Irish contingent at the ExCeL Arena.

Taylor remained amateur for another Olympic cycle before turning professional in 2016. At the time, women’s professional boxing was still nowhere near its current commercial level.

That changed dramatically during the decade that followed.

How Much Did Katie Taylor Change Women’s Boxing?

It is difficult to separate Taylor’s record from the wider effect her career had on the sport.

When she turned professional, women regularly appeared far down boxing undercards. Major arena headliners were unusual and the biggest fights rarely received the same promotional backing as equivalent men’s contests. Taylor gradually helped change that.

Her first fight with Serrano sold out Madison Square Garden and proved that a women’s world-title fight could headline one of the most famous sporting venues on earth. Their second meeting attracted a huge global audience through Netflix, while the trilogy returned to Madison Square Garden as the headline bout of an all-women’s card.

Now her career ends in front of roughly 80,000 people at Croke Park. It is a fairly remarkable progression in less than ten years.

Taylor was obviously not responsible for that change alone. Serrano, Claressa Shields, Cameron and several others have played major roles in pushing the sport forward.

Taylor was, however, at the centre of many of its biggest nights.

How Old Is Katie Taylor?

Katie Taylor is 40 years old. She was born on 2 July 1986 in Bray, County Wicklow.

The length of her career makes her recent results particularly impressive. Her trilogy victory over Serrano came only days after her 39th birthday, yet she was still competing against another elite world champion over ten rounds.

Taylor has been clear that Croke Park will be the end.

There has been no suggestion that the Flora Pili fight is a promotional retirement designed to set up another comeback six months later. The entire event has been built around one final professional appearance in Ireland’s national stadium.

What Is Katie Taylor’s Final Fight?

Katie Taylor’s final fight is against Flora Pili at Croke Park on Saturday 5 September 2026.

Pili enters unbeaten at 12-0 and is considerably younger than Taylor, although she has never faced opposition anywhere close to this level.

The fight is also for the undisputed super-lightweight championship.

Taylor puts her WBA, IBF and WBO titles on the line, while the vacant WBC belt gives her the opportunity to finish her career holding every major title at 140lb once more.

BetVictor currently makes Taylor a strong favourite in the fight-winner market, although boxing odds can change as fight night approaches.

What Are Katie Taylor’s Biggest Wins?

Choosing one is difficult because different fights mattered for different reasons.

The first Serrano victory probably had the greatest cultural impact. Headlining Madison Square Garden felt like a turning point for the sport and the fight itself lived up to the occasion.

Beating Delfine Persoon in 2019 made Taylor undisputed lightweight champion for the first time.

The Cameron rematch might be her best performance under pressure. She had just suffered the first defeat of her professional career, moved straight back into the same fight six months later and produced the adjustments needed to reverse the result. Then there is the Serrano trilogy.

Three fights against one of the best female boxers of her generation resulted in three Taylor victories, even though every meeting presented different problems.

That collection of results explains why a simple 25-1 record does not quite do the career justice.

Can Katie Taylor Finish Her Career 26-1?

That is what Croke Park will decide.

Taylor enters her final fight as the clear favourite, and experience is heavily in her favour. Pili is unbeaten, but she has only 12 professional fights and has never encountered anything resembling the occasion waiting for her in Dublin. There is always risk in a farewell fight.

Taylor is 40, while Pili is entering what should be the prime years of her career. The French challenger also has very little pressure on her. Almost everybody inside Croke Park will be expecting one result. Taylor has spent most of her career dealing with expectations like that.

One final victory would leave her professional record at 26-1, restore undisputed status at super-lightweight and allow her to leave the sport on the stage she spent years asking for.

For all the belts, historic nights and rivalries, that feels like a fitting final target. Whatever happens against Pili, the broader record is already secure.

Olympic champion. Undisputed in two divisions. Three victories over Amanda Serrano. One professional defeat, avenged six months later. Croke Park gets the final entry.
