GAA Betting and Odds

One of the main highlights of the Irish sporting calendar has to be the final of the All-Ireland Football Championship each September. The Gaelic Football season spans most of the year, with the National Football Championship in winter and the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship through the summer. Gaelic Football draws hundreds of thousands of fans all year, and Croke Park never fails to fill its 82,000 capacity for the SFC final.

With BetVictor, you’ll have a range of markets to go at right through the season, across all the GAA teams and counties. There are few sports as competitive as this, which makes Gaelic Football Betting all the more exciting.

After the National Football League final in April, it’s straight onto the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship through the summer. At BetVictor we’ll keep you up to speed game to game, from the first kick off to the September final, and bring you a range of Gaelic Football Betting markets along the way.

The road to Croke Park isn’t an easy one. Each of the 32 counties organise their own Gaelic games teams, and they face off in knock-out Provincial Championships in Munster, Leinster, Ulster and Connacht. By June, the four Provincial winners have been decided and progress to the All-Ireland Super 8s round robin group stage, which is played through July and August. But hope isn’t lost for the losing teams. Their path to the final via the Qualifiers is more difficult, but successful teams will join the action of the Super 8s and have a chance to progress to the semi-finals, and eventually the final at Croke Park.

Kerry is the most successful county in SFC history, but Dublin has been making a remarkable charge for the trophy in recent years and have been celebrating consecutive wins year upon year. While Galway, Mayo and Cork have lifted the Sam Maguire trophy fewer times, they have consistently made the Championship final and are ones to watch every season.

Recent History of GAA

The Gaelic Athletic Association is the biggest sports body in Ireland and was set up for the promotion and preservation of Irish culture through sport. GAA clubs are woven into the fabric of many communities in Ireland and are crucial to the survival of traditional Gaelic games like handball, hurling and Gaelic Football.

The GAA Championships take place every year, with teams from all over Ireland. The highlights of the GAA calendar are the All-Ireland Finals in hurling and Gaelic Football, although the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final is the most highly anticipated event of the year.

With BetVictor, you can Bet on Gaelic Football all season across a range of Betting markets on every game. Whether it’s the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship or the National Football League, we have great Odds and a range of Sports Betting markets every season.
