Wimbledon Prize Money

Earlier this month, the All England Club announced that there would be a historic 20% increase on the Wimbledon prize money from the 2025 edition. The overall purse stands at £64.2million with the winners of the Men’s and Women’s Singles each receiving a cool £3.6m each.

Even the first round losers will bank £80k. However, there has been a protest from some of the game’s best players owing to a lack of revenue share. As a result, the likes of Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek are expected to limit their media duties across the first week of the tournament.

Jannik Sinner’s Wimbledon Odds

Having taken an unwanted spot in the French Open upsets list last month, Jannik Sinner will once again be the man to beat in SW19. The Italian ace – who is the reigning Singles champion – is the Men’s Wimbledon favourite with a current price of 8/13 to go all the way.

His task appears a lot more clearer owing to Carlos Alcaraz’s absence owing to a wrist injury. However, Sinner succumbed to heat exhaustion and cramp at Roland-Garros in the second round and eventually lost to Juan Manuel Cerundolo having been two sets up and 5-1 up in the third.

As long as the World No.1 keeps himself fit and healthy, it would be hard to envisage anyone else claiming the title on July 12. Hoping to defy the Wimbledon odds will be veteran star Novak Djokovic, French Open champion Alexander Zverev and American hopefuls Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton.

The Women’s Favourites For Wimbledon 2026

Unlike the Men’s singles which has one clear odds-on favourite, the Women’s side is a lot more open. Aryna Sabalenka is the pre-tournament 7/2 favourite to win Wimbledon. Elena Rybakina can be backed at 9/2 with 2025 victor Iga Swiatek available at 15/2. Mirra Andreeva is also the same price as the Pole.

Elsewhere, Coco Gauff is 11/1 whereas last year’s runner-up Amanda Anisimova is slightly further back at 12s. For those looking for stronger value, Great Britain’s Emma Raducanu is 28/1, Naomi Osaka is 33/1 and so to is legendary Women’s star Serena Williams.

Serena And Venus Williams Wimbledon 2026 Odds

Having received a wildcard for the Women’s Doubles, Serena and Venus Williams will be teaming up once more for a shot of glory in SW19. Although their best days are very much behind them, keen Wimbledon betting enthusiasts can get 14/1 on the Williams sisters going all the way in 2026.
