Harry Redknapp’s PL Team Of The Week: Arsenal, Bournemouth And Man City Stars All Included

I think it has to be Raya in goal. He made a fantastic save with the scores at 0-0 and that proved to be a huge moment in this game and in the title race for Arsenal. The less said about the decision at the end though. Let’s just say I see that sort of incident about 15 times a game!

Munoz is a really dependable player for Palace. It’s been another great year for them and this lad is an ever-present and really suits that formation. I don’t see many better right wing-backs out there.

I do like Senesi at Bournemouth; he’s a very underrated centre-half. He’s been one of the Cherries best players this season and is a real leader at the back. I hope he stays at the club next season, but I know clubs have been looking at him.

Tarkowski’s been one of the most reliable defenders in this league for years now, you always know what you’re getting from the big lad. He’s so dominant in both boxes, what a presence he is.

Brighton are in great form right now and I was very impressed by De Cuyper at left-back. This boy has a very nice left foot and you saw that with those two assists. He’s a good player and someone that I think will get even better.

Doku’s been one of City’s best players all season. He’s been absolutely brilliant this week, chipping in with some lovely goals. That’s always been the one weakness in his game, so if he can keep adding goals to go with his electric pace and dribbling, what a player he’ll be.

West Ham 2/9
Tottenham 3/1

Elliot Anderson’s obviously had a very difficult couple of weeks but what character he showed at the weekend, delivering a vital goal for his side against his boyhood team of all teams. You can’t help but be impressed by this lad and he’s got a big summer ahead of him.

Hinshelwood’s a good young player at Brighton, I like this lad. He seems to play everywhere but he was in a midfield position here and showed a real knack for getting forward and showed great desire to nod that opener in.

A healthy and fit John McGinn makes a massive difference to Villa. He’s the skipper for a reason and gives them so much energy and drive from midfield and has been the key man this week in Europe and against Burnley. He’s already a Villa legend but if he can skipper them to a European trophy, that will only add to that.

Trossard’s a must, what a massive moment for him. That win over West Ham felt like the decisive moment in this year’s title race, but we’ll have to wait and see. He’s a player that probably goes under the radar but there’s a reason Arteta trusts him so much in these big games.

We probably take Haaland for granted. This consensus seems to be that he’s had a quiet season by his standards, but he’s now got 26 goals in the league! It just shows how high his standards are I suppose and I thought he was such a threat against Brentford.

Manager –  I think it has to be Iraola, again! Bournemouth are just in amazing form right now and they just don’t look like losing. They’ve still got a chance to even qualify for the Champions League, imagine that! I know he’s announced that he’s leaving but IF they do qualify for the Champions League, he’s got a big decision to make about his future…
