Who Are The Premier League Favourites? Arsenal Lead The Market

Here at BetVictor, the Arsenal Premier League odds strongly suggest the Gunners will successfully defend their crown. After their 3-0 win over Coventry on August 21, Mikel Arteta’s side went from 6/5 to 5/6 to come out on top upon the conclusion of the 2026-27 season in May.

The north Londoners have added sensibly to their squad over the summer. Christos Tzolis joined on a £34million deal from Club Brugge, with Brazil international Bruno Guimaraes and England defender Ezri Konsa also making the switch to the Emirates.

What Other Teams Are In Contention To Win The Premier League?

With Arsenal leading the way, the other Premier League favourites for the title include Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United. The Cityzens started the Enzo Maresca era with a narrow and unconvincing 2-1 win over Bournemouth.

Whereas the west Londoners are concerned, they beat capital rivals Fulham 3-2 with the front three of Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro and Morgan Rogers all on target at Craven Cottage. At St James’ Park, Andoni Iraola’s side were somewhat fortunate to earn a point against a vibrant Newcastle side. And the Red Devils chances were trimmed dramatically after losing 2-0 to recently-promoted Hull.

Who Are The Favourites To Be Relegated From The Premier League?

Despite their brilliant 2-0 victory at home to Man United, the Premier League relegation odds strongly point towards an immediate return to the EFL Championship for Hull. The Tigers earned their spot in England’s elite through the play-offs.

Coventry are also very much in the mix. The Sky Blues went down 3-0 to Arsenal on MD1 and many are expecting Frank Lampard’s side to struggle this year. Ipswich are the third favourites but there is a positive feeling around Portman Road after the Tractor Boys posted a winning start at the expense of Sunderland.

On the topic of the Black Cats, they are the fourth favourites with Fulham, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are also in contention.
