Tuesday offers us three cards to look at. With the all-weather break still currently on, it’s just jumping today. Tramore in Ireland, Southwell and Sedgefield are the venues hosting racing action.
Nap Of The Day
Nice to get the week off to a winning start, I am writing this ahead of prices coming out so it is a shade tricky to know how short Where’s My Jet will be in the closing bumper at Tramore on Tuesday.
The trainer switch to Willie Mullins is bound to catch the eye. She was last seen finishing fourth in a bumper at Galway and the winner that day was My Great Mate, he then went onto win again at Punchestown in a race BetVictor sponsored.
The second that day went on to win a race at Fairyhouse next time out, the fifth headed to the UK and won at Sedgefield, even the sixth has gone and placed in a maiden hurdle. The form seems to stack up nicely and the soft going will be no issue for her.
The Must-Watch Race Of The Day
It was a bit of a struggle to establish a strong must-watch race, but I felt the two mile Mares Maiden Hurdle had a few interesting types at Southwell today.
Dan Skelton runs his German import Alljani, An D’Arabie was running well enough at a big price on her debut before being hampered. Ben Pauling runs a point-to-point winner, Sanda Rena, who came third in a bumper at Southwell. Finally of the rest, Telepathique was the one I would expect on paper to have the best chance of winning, having finished a nice second last time out at Newbury.
