Terence Crawford Record & Knockout Ratio

Terence Crawford record

Terence Crawford is arguably the greatest pound-for-pound boxer in the sport. Currently the unified world welterweight champion, the Nebraskan boxer has also held world titles in the lightweight and light welterweight divisions. Quite simply, the 36-year-old has no equal which is why he boasts an overall record of 40 fights and 40 wins.

Perhaps these unprecedented achievements are to be expected from a man who was boxing almost before he could walk. Here is Crawford’s record since he turned professional in March 2008.

Who did Crawford fight last?

Crawford’s last fight was against Errol Spence Jr. at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 29, 2023. The build-up to Crawford’s box office showdown with Spence was billed as the chance to see who the greatest welterweight in the division was with both men putting their undefeated records on the line.

The script on the night, however, did not follow the pre-fight narrative which suggested there would be nothing between the duo. Crawford instead was the perfect mix of timing, patience, and aggression as he picked Spence apart ruthlessly to claim a ninth-round technical knockout. This dominant win in Nevada earned Crawford the title of undisputed welterweight champion.

How many knockouts has Crawford recorded?

Out of Crawford’s 40 professional fights, the 36-year-old has recorded 31 wins by way of technical knockout or knockout. Overall, this gives Crawford a career KO ratio of 77 percent.

Who will Crawford fight next and what are the odds of the American winning?

While a date and location have yet to be confirmed, Crawford will fight Spence next after the 33-year-old triggered the rematch clause in his contract following defeat in Las Vegas. This match should take place in 2024.

The boxing odds on Crawford and Spence’s first bout made the former the marginal favorite. However, owing to the nature of the defeat in Sin City, the prices for the second showdown should make Crawford the comfortable favourite.
