When will the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season start?
The 2024 Super Rugby Pacific campaign will begin in late February. The first round of games will be conducted on February 23 and February 24, with six fixtures in total. From there, the season is split over a further fourteen rounds, with the final round of matches happening on May 31 and June 1.
The regular Super Rugby 2024 season sees a total of eighty-four matches taking place. The twelve teams that will compete in Super Rugby 2024 will play fourteen games each, with eleven of those round-robin matches. The eight teams that finish in the top eight spots in the league will then progress to the finals series.
The quarter-finals are in the format of 1st v 8th, 2nd v 7th, 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th. The top-ranked team will host.
The semi-finals are made up of the top-ranked winners in the quarter-finals, taking in the lowest-ranked quarter-final victors. The other semi-final sees the second-highest quarter-final winner hosting the third-highest-ranked winner in the quarters.
In the final, the top-ranked semi-final winner hosts the other winner from the semis.
