One of the hardest tables in the Euros this year, Group B’s opening fixture sees Spain take on Croatia in what is sure to be a feisty match between the two, with their last three matches tallying up a Win, Draw and Loss for both sides – not to mention a Nations League Final in June 2023 that took penalties to separate them. While ‘La Furia Roja’ won 7 of their 8 qualifying matches including a 7-1 victory against Georgia and a 6-0 against Cyprus, the ‘Vatreni’ managed 6 out of 8 wins in the Qualifiers, and added three friendly wins on 8th June this year when they beat Portugal 2-1. Despite Croatia’s strong run of form, Spain’s squad depth and 3.75 average goals per game, from their last 8 matches, make them our early prediction to win.
