They get another opportunity to right their wrong, and this is undoubtedly the time to show why they finished ahead of the Broncos.
West Michigan Broncos
It’s been a while since the Broncos tasted glory on the big stage. This team won its last conference tournament title in 2014. Now they have another chance to win another, but they face a formidable opponent, the Ohio Bobcats. Their performance in the MAC regular season isn’t what Dwayne Stephens hoped for. However, there have been instances where they delivered when it was least expected, especially in the games against the Miami RedHawks and the Akron Zips.
The game against the Zips, arguably the best side in the MAC, was their last game for the season. It ended 90-84 in what was an exciting tie. After falling to defeat in the first half, 31-45, only a few would have expected their response in the second half. They went on to win the second, putting on a fantastic display that saw them scoring 59 points, 20 more than the visitors to record their 7th home win. The victory wouldn’t have been possible if B.Artis White, Javonte Brown, Seth Hubbard and Titus Wright didn’t step up to the occasion. They will need such motivation once again to get past the Bobcats.
