Next up is the encounter that gets underway on an early Sunday afternoon, as the Eagles travel to Washington to take on the Commanders. The Philadelphia Eagles are lighting up the NFL right now, sitting on an incredible streak of 10 wins, which includes a 27-13 destruction of the Pittsburgh Steelers, alongside victories over the Ravens and the Rams. On the flip side, the Washington Commanders haven’t exactly been a pushover this season, however, a recent string of 3 losses has all but handed the NFC East title to the Eagles.
A win here for the Philadelphia team would crown them as the champions of the division; however, the bigger picture is the race for the top spot of the conference. They currently sit in second place, hoping for a slip-up from the Detroit Lions, which is certainly possible, albeit unlikely.
Jalen Hurts is certainly a player to look out for in this encounter, as he threw for an impressive 290 yards against the Steelers, linking up well with A.J. Brown to solidify the victory. Another thing to mention is that Saquon Barkley will likely be in the mix for this one, with his injury being ruled not as serious as it initially seemed.
The Eagles have covered the spread in all five of their last matches and will be brimming with confidence. Their home and away records are identical for this season so far (6-1), which shows that they don’t mind playing in a hostile environment, either. We think the Eagles will storm to victory in this one, covering the -5.5 spread while also earning a first-place finish in the NFC East division on Sunday!
Game 3: Minnesota Vikings @ Seattle Seahawks

Last but certainly not least is the Seahawks against the Vikings, with the team from Seattle unfortunately being riddled with injuries. Quarterback Geno Smith is ruled as questionable for the encounter, as are Kenneth Walker III, Tre Brown, Artie Burns, and Brady Russell. The Vikings could kick off without Jalen Redmond, Brian O’Neill, and Stephon Gilmore, all of whom are questionable too.
For both teams, this game is a fight for the top spot in their respective divisions, as the Vikings chase the Lions and the Seahawks chase the Rams. The Vikings have been on fire as of late, sitting on a win streak of 7, while the Seahawks have been victorious in 4 of their 5 last games.
We think that the key difference between these two teams is their receiving capability, with Justin Jefferson having an outstanding season for the Vikings so far. The Seahawks have also been underperforming inside of Lumen Field (3-5 this season), and the Vikings are likely to be unphased by the occasion. After combining these factors with the uncertainty around various players, we’re picking the Vikings to cover the spread and continue their hunt for the top spot in the NFC North!
