Even though we’re nearing the end of the NBA 23/24 season, the excitement doesn’t appear to be letting up. The Western Conference’s lead is neck and neck, with the Celtics holding sway in the Eastern Conference. Naturally, all sides still have games to win, as each spot is crucially important for the playoffs.
This post highlights three NBA betting picks selected from hotly anticipated games on March 16th, 2024!
Game 1: Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers

We’re off to the American Airlines Center, setting of the match between the Golden State Warriors and the LA Lakers. Game time is 8:30 pm EDT on March 16th.
This game should be tight, but points might be hard to come by. The LA Lakers are in good shape, fresh from a narrow win over the Bucks and a substantial 120-109 triumph over the Timberwolves.
Adversely, the Golden State Warriors have been a bit hit or miss as of late. One notable match was a 126-113 loss to the Spurs, who sit rock bottom of the Western Conference. With that being said, this loss was avenged 2 days later.

Game 2: Dallas Mavericks vs Denver Nuggets
Our Pick = Nuggets -6.5
Another interesting matchup for the Dallas Mavericks, however, we can’t back them in this one either. The Nuggets always seem to rise to the occasion against the Mavericks, winning 4 of the 5 most recent games between the two.
Now, our reasoning behind the -6.5 in favour of the Denver Nuggets is similar to our Oklahoma City Thunder -3.5 pick in game 1. The Nuggets have huge pressure on them to continue winning games if they want to stay competitive at the top of the Western Conference. They also have recent form on their side after picking up victories against teams such as The Jazz, The Celtics, and The Lakers.
