It was great to get a winner yesterday and anyone who followed in will have been pleased to see Amy Murphy’s Tequlia Rose emerge triumphant having been made to work hard on the South Coast.
The action today comes from Tipperary, Beverley, Hamilton on the Flat, Kempton offers a late all weather card whilst jumps fans get their code of choice at Newton Abbot, Cartmel and Wexford.
Nap Of The Day
The Newton Abbot card gets underway with a mares novice hurdle where David Pipe will be hopeful Walk Of The Roses can return after a year off the track with a bang.
This will be her hurdles debut and she was effective on her two bumper starts to date last year. A winner on her first start at Ffos Las she then went on to finish second at Uttoxeter. Today she will need to show she can handle ease in the ground, I think looking at some of the relations the dam produced and being by Walk In The Park that shouldn’t pose a huge issue to her chances.
