It was great to get the winning feeling back again yesterday at Punchestown with the NAP landing. Today we have action over jumps at Market Rasen (where we find our NAP) and Taunton whilst tonight Wolverhampton hosts your evening all-weather action.
NAP of the Day
It is to Market Rasen we go and their penultimate race which is a listed Mares Bumper. This is an intriguing contest which looks to have some depth. BetVictor ambassadors Jamie Snowden and Gavin Sheehan team up with Audacious Annie who was a nice winner at Wetherby on debut and is related to the Cheltenham Festival winner Youwearitwell. Our own Harry Redknapp also has a runner in the race – Northern Air makes her rules debut, having been brought after winning a point to point at Dromahane. She could make an impact for a yard who do well in the bumper sphere. The selection however will go to the only four-year-old in the line-up. Anthonny Honeyball’s Park Princess was deeply impressive when winning a junior bumper, we sponsored at Newbury last year. Well found in the market that day she moved nicely during the race to quicken and looked to have plenty in the tank, winning by ten lengths. This requires further improvement against older horses but in receipt of weight from most of the field I think she can confirm her early promise in good style.
