It was fantastic to keep the good form rolling with a nice winner at Windsor on Monday, today we aim to keep that run going with action on the flat at Goodwood, Gowran Park and Chepstow. Southwell and Newcastle are both on the all weather today.
It looks a good card for the time of year down at Goodwood later and the novice at 2.55 has plenty of previous winners such as Retracement your market leader a winner at Pontefract last time out.
It is going to be a horse that is yet to win that I will be backing here, I am pleased to see we have had a slight drift on Forest Gate who is now trading at around 5/1. This colt by Waldgeist has finished third and second on his two starts to date and as such won’t carry a penalty unlike the previous winners in the field. His second at Newbury last time out looks like it was a fairly decent race and the going looks ideal for him today here.
