No getting away from the disappointing run yesterday from the nap even with the bump at the start I expected better.
Today we have action from Beverley and Killarney on the Flat whilst Kempton offers all weather fans a card starting at 6pm. Nottingham has sadly been lost to the weather, you really must feel for any connections with horses after quick ground. This wet summer has not been kind to those keen on normal good to firm ground we can expect in July.
Nap Of The Day
We are going to head to arguably one of the most scenic racecourses in the world, Killarney is well worth a visit and the flat card today has a few interesting heats.
I think that Hasna for Dermot Weld is good value to reverse the form with Lady Doris in the 7.15. They met at Down Royal in the Ulster Oaks and now Weld’s filly is two pounds better off with Lady Doris. Donnacha O’Brien who trains Lady Doris has his team in sensational form but I think the value is in Hasna to improve again on just her fourth career start today.
