Racing today at Beverley, Killarney, Ayr and Chepstow on the Flat whilst Southwell is your only jumps card on Tuesday. Yesterday, the NAP did well to end up in second after a couple of jumping errors. I wouldn’t lose faith in Golden Maverick and remain convinced that, on slightly better ground, he can get back to winning ways next time out.
NAP of the Day
Today the NAP comes from one of the Bumpers at Southwell. This time of year you can get the odd nice bumper type given how long trainers have waited for better ground. Mountain Mike ran third in his only start to date which was a point to point which seems to have form working out well from it. The winner Castle Ivers has won twice since joining Olly Murphy, the second Little Big Kev placed on his only start since and the sixth in the race since won a point to point on his next start. The Newland/Insole team are going really well at the moment and I think this five-year-old can make his mark on his UK rules debut today.
