Another great day of action with jumps at Cheltenham and Clonmel whilst we see flat Turf action at Ripon and Newmarket (NAP) with Chelmsford your late all weather card.
Before we get into the NAP for today, a quick look back at yesterday’s pick Dance Sequence who finished a close second at Newmarket. I really think she still has a great chance in the 1000 Guineas next month and the move to a mile is going to really help her chances. You can see the full market here.
NAP of the Day
Onto today where the original plan was to NAP Golden Ace at Cheltenham but the Festival winner is just too short at 4/11. Instead, the NAP heads to the 4.10 at Newmarket where Izipizi runs for the locally-based Gosden team. Entered in the 1000 Guineas, she made her debut on the all weather and was a shade keen on that first start. Beaten by her stablemate, she is up to winning an event like this. The form of the one run at Kempton hasn’t really been tested but the fifth and eighth have both since won a maiden. I expect her to run well and give Thady Gosden a birthday winner at HQ.
