A huge week of racing with the final classic of the season at Donny on Saturday with the St Leger, Ireland has its Irish Champions weekend and we creep closer to the jumps season proper returning.
Today we have jumps action at Newton Abbot who have passed an inspection, Perth and Galway. Brighton is the only flat turf card whilst Wolverhampton is our late all weather action.
Daily Nap
We have seen a couple of non runners in the seven furlong maiden at Brighton later today but I still think Amy Murphy’s Kidonan is good value at around 15/8. This twice raced son of Dark Angel was fourth on debut at Newcastle before going to France to finish third on heavy ground at Deauville. Whilst the horse will need to show he can cope with the challenge that a track like Brighton presents I think he should take all the beating here thanks to his experience to date.
