As the end of the Flat season creeps into sight we have one eye on Ascot this weekend for the Champions Day fixture with racing expected to be moved onto the jumps track due to the expected rain over the next few days.
Before that we have a busy week of action with Monday seeing six meetings; Roscommon, Musselburgh and Windsor on the flat, Hereford hosting a jumps card plus Kempton and Wolverhampton on the all-weather.
NAP of the Day
We are heading to Windsor for their final fixture of the season, and I think Rikissa in the six furlong novice can relish the soft ground on offer for the Arc winning duo of Ralph Beckett and Rossa Ryan.
This once raced daughter of Mohaather has a page to suggest the going will be to her liking and proved that on her only start to date at Newbury when third over slightly further. The form of that race looks fair, Orange Sky in second has since won and the fourth Suhub ran well on his subsequent two runs since.
