NAP of the Day – Friday 26th April

NAP of the Day

A welcome winner for the Daily Nap yesterday. Today, we have a busy Friday with Doncaster, Perth, Cork, Downpatrick (NAP), Chepstow, Newcastle in action and the real quality on show at Sandown.

NAP of the Day

We have plenty of title races to be decided and the Irish Jockeys Championship between Paul Townend and Jack Kennedy is hotting up. Downpatrick plays host to the next twist and turns between these fine riders, and I think Paul Townend will come away with at least one winner in Surf Club. He runs in the handicap hurdle at 5.50. This eight-year-old won just four days ago at Tramore over fences and returns quickly here. Good ground seem to help him get his act together and runs off 98 back over hurdles which, given the going, is likely to be a very workable mark.
