NAP of the Day – Friday 14th June

A typically busy Summer Friday with flat action at York, Chester, Sandown, Cork, Fairyhouse, and Goodwood. Newton Abbot and Market Rasen offer you jumping action today.

I am going to head to Cork for the NAP for the five furling maiden where Desert Power has to be in with a great chance of going one better than his debut effort at Navan. The winner that day, Sturlasson, gave the form a nice boost when running really well at Epsom to come second. This race looks fairly weak on paper and I think the Lynam team, who had a winner at Navan last week, can notch another here with this gelding by Slade Power.
