After a fairly poor week for the nap we have action at Chester where it is heavy ground, Doncaster which is now Good to Soft good in places, Sandown is Good to Soft on the round course whilst the Sprint track is Heavy in places. Sailsbury is Good to Soft, Good in places. We also have a jumps card at Ballinrobe which is Good ground.
Nap Of The Day
Sir Michael Stoute announced his retirement this week and he looks set to end the season with a bang. He is running at a 30% strike rate in the last two weeks and may be unleashing another future talent in Jonquil in the Flying Scotsman. This son of Lope De Vega made a winning start to life at Sandown despite suffering from significant traffic issues when traveling strongly and having to be switched to get a run. Progression from that first run will be expected and I think we will see this favourite score another winner for one of the training greats.
