It was great to reward followers with a 6/1 winner yesterday at Chelmsford. Today we have action at Newbury, Newmarket, Thirsk, Cork and Epsom on the flat. Tramore host the only jumps card today.

I am heading to Newbury for a couple of sponsored races including the 2.05 which is the Watch Weekend Winners With BetVictor Nursery Handicap. We have seen market support for a few in here but I can’t get away from the chances of Miss El Fundi to win on just her second turf start. An opening mark of 82 looks fair when you consider how in form the yard are (29% strike rate) and the manor of the victory at Kempton last time out. Staying at six furlongs looks a smart move for this horse who has won over the trip and was clearly well regarded given her Royal Ascot run in the Chesham.
