Firstly, I just wanted to say thank you for the kind words about last weeks great run which saw five winners in a row. As ever you know runs like that can’t go on forever, but we had some great winners, the highlight being a 5/1 shot at Catterick. This week I will have daily full race card previews of Aintree to look forward to. You can see my early Grand National short list.
NAP of the day
Today, we have racing at Wincanton (NAP) over jumps then its three all weather cards at Lingfield, Newcastle and Wolverhampton to get stuck into. The card at Wincaton features three of our BetVictor ambassadors with Northern Air making her hurdles debut for Harry Redknapp at 2.38, whilst Jamie Snowden and Gavin Sheehan team up with Hardy Du Seuil in the 4.08. It is the 4.08 at Wincanton where the NAP is going to run. Paul Nicholls needs a big week at Aintree with his Championship title on the line and I think that Toss Of A Coin can help add towards his prize money on handicap debut. Unbeaten since joining the yard, he has looked well at home on softer ground having won on Soft and Heavy on his two starts to date over hurdles. On his second start at Newbury, he got the better of Ballybentragh after Harry Cobden gave him mount a peach of a ride. Toss Of A Coin doesn’t look thrown in off 129 but I think should have enough quality to go well and hopefully kick the week off with a winning NAP for us.
