NAP of the Day – Thursday 18th July

Finally looking at the weather forecast it feels like Summer is arriving and should ensure some good ground for the weekends big action at Newbury. Before that we have a typically busy Thursday with Flat turf action at Hamilton, Leicester, Chepstow, Leopardstown, and Epsom. Killarney moves to a jumps card today and we also have action over the sticks at Worcester.

Nap Of The Day

The NAP perhaps is one for Liverpool fans today as we head to the 8.25 at Worcester which is a maiden hurdle over just shy of three miles. Fergal O’Brien’s six year old has plenty of experience and I think is the most likely winner of this contest. Third at Uttoxeter last time out was his first run from a break and I think he can come on for it. Based on the form of his Ludlow 4th in January earlier this year a race of this nature should be within his grasp and I expect him to go close here.
